Heritage Auctions Thread

Recommended Posts

The few VHS collectors are going to pull a WATA / Heritage move and shill bid things up to sell at top dollar like the major video games guys did over the past few years. The losers here are going to be the same suckers who will think they could make a quick buck by collecting VHS. Same folks who bought into Dogecoin that will never learn. Theres always someone out there who jumps onto the fake hype train.

Calling it here. Sealed cassettes and cds are next. Go get them while you can!! 😀😀

In all fairness cassettes are friggin cool.

edit: this is not an endorsement of graded cassettes. i have no interest in or desire for that.

I think the Star Wars KOTOR final sale price is fair. 53 graded first print variants to date of the greatest game ever made and this one sits on the higher end. In contrast, people are spending a thousand dollars on Brock Purdy rookie cards right now and there’s way more of them out there than sealed copies of KOTOR.

hilariously, HA does a lot of things that even high-end sellers complain about. For e.g. including multiple high grade games back-to-back in the same auction. I've seen folks complain about that because "waaaah why isn't HA manipulating the market for me" etc. lol

Hahahaha how bad is that person in the 6 games lot kicking themself? It has to be a minimum 40$ a game just to grade right?

Even the CIB ps2 stuff is cheaper than eBay😂😂😂😂

For those who are experienced with graded games, this isn’t anything shocking at all. Moral of the story - don’t grade common games in common condition.
