So many possible captions for this:

I hope that thing has a window or plug.  Drinking anything would be an absolute bitch of a task without a plug.  Also drooling would be a real issue.  Ever seen someone try to hold back their vomit in their mouth, this guy would port side discharge.  Image all the random shit that fall, crawl, or fly into that open hole.  Dude would always fail at blowing up balloons.

Figured I'd toss out some pings just to make sure everyone who might be interested is aware that we're starting a new game 👍

Also, just double checking but was this you actually signing up for the game @Gloves? Just want to make sure there's no confusion just in case you didn't intend to actually sign up.

Thanks for notice.  I got WAY too much on my plate to do werewolf right now unfortunately.

Well on the bright side, those going for full sets of physical media across all platforms will soon have an ending point 🙂

This is very true.  But what I think till happen is basically the PSVR game catalog.  A good chunk are published by a handful of companies devoted to physical media.  Usually games are first released on digital media only and then if they do well there, they will get a physical release.  I don't think it's the end of the world if a console's library goes form being thousands of titles to just a few hundred.  If it's an actual obtainable goal then we might see more people go for full sets and help keep those physical publisher in business.  Half the problem is know what companies do the publishing and getting a hold of their stock before it runs out.  Good or niche type games will continue to get physical releases.  If a game has "merch" then you can bet your ass they will have physical media as part of their merch they sell.  Sadly there will be times that they only sell you a physical case with a download code.  Think DuckTales Remastered on PS3... before they did a physical re-release with a disc.

Down side is you can expect scalpers to be just as bad if you want a physical copy of a good game.  Companies aren't stupid and they don't want to left with extra stock they can't sell off.  The day you can buy a vinyl record of the soundtrack to a game but not a physical copy of the game will be a very very sad day.  It'll only happen once consoles ditch physical drives.

  4. Spotify had recommended me a playlist from this animate and I just loved it so much that I had to look into this anime.  Kinda recent one and was nominated for a lot of awards and won a few.  I'm on episode 11 right now and has me hooked to see the final conclusion.  Hard to describe series but it's kinda like Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.  Multiple stories all related to each other and how they are takes time to show.   But yeah, that intro song slaps for me.

  5. This reminds me of a time where a soldier refused to use a knife to open up an MRE because he didn't "need" to use a tool.  I then watched him struggle to get the thick plastic cover off the MRE.  I then took my knife and easily cut mine open in 1/10 the time an 1/100 less the effort.  I then reminded him that tools is what separated humans for from animals.  Don't be a dumbass and refuse to use a tool that helps you do a task faster and easier.

For work I constantly have to go to places I've never been and don't have an address.  Once I tried using printed directions for going to a rural locations and halfway I got lost and had to use my GPS.  It was more to see how hard thing use to be.  I know I could use a big ass map to find my way around but that would cause me to take the "simple" routes to get somewhere and over all be harder and take longer.

I use GPS all the time for work and I usually try to use it when I expect there may be a crash and should take a different route home.

  6. PSVR (version 1 & 2) can be played on the PS5 with a free adapter Sony had sent out if you provided them with the serial number of your PSVR.  Not sure if they are still doing that.   Of course you get one easily on eBay for ~$10.  Basically gets you PS4 Pro quality and a small handful of games give you a performance bump over the PS4 Pro too.  From what I heard there was only a couple of games where the PS4 Pro made a significant difference.

So if you are planning on using the PSVR with a PS5 that pass through ability is a much bigger issue.  Funny that Sony had dealt with a similar issue on the PS3 and their 3D headset, HMZ-T1.  I think it had NO video pass through at all if the headset was left plugged into the base station.  I know the last version HMT-T3 had it fixed.  That is one that I have and use.  I think the second version had it fix too and that was the major perk over the first version.

You are making me think about it.  Are you saying you want $240 for all of the PSVR items AND the games?

That's a good deal if the headset is in good condition.  @Johnnyboy113 Is this the PSVR version 1 or version 2?  If you didn't know there is a common issue with the pad flacking off.  I fucked mine up by cleaning it with rubbing alcohol.  If you want to sell the bundle you should state what version it is and take photos of the pads and lenses.  Lenses can scratch pretty easy but I find the pad flacking is by far the most common issue with buying used.

Wongojack, there are some differences in version 1 and 2.  Main things are the first version would let you move the head set closer or further from your face when  it's on your head.  There a button at the top right that exists on version 2 to allow you to move the headset.  Also version 1 doesn't allow 4k passthrough.  AKA you would need to disconnect the HDMI from the PSVR processor and plug it directly into the PS4.  PSVR version 2 allows passthrough so no need to unplug wires to get 4K vide out of PS4 while the PSVR processor is hooked up.

  8. @DarkKobold now that you got your grail.  What are going to focus your attention on next?  Any plans on taking Rebel to a Con for people to actually experience the game in person.  I've heard of someone people who do that, take rare consoles/games to Cons to share with the community.  I'm really interested if you gave any thoughts to what you would do if you got Rebel and now that you got it, do you still feel the same about what you want to do.

I thought just for the heck of it, I would go through my PSVR games and make sure everything I had was on your list.

Every ESRB game that I own is on your list.  I also own several PAL VR games.  I personally don't really care about NA/PAL.  I just buy whatever I can find at a good deal.  So I haven't looked into any of these to see if they were PAL exclusive or not.

I will list the PAL PSVR games I own below just in case you want to research them and make sure there wasn't an ESRB release.  I think some of these games you might have mentioned already, so I apologize for any duplication.

    • Blind
    • Downward Spiral
    • Fruit Ninja VR (VERY FUN game, highly recommended even if you only play to collect ESRB games)
    • Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son
    • Gun Club VR
    • Ping Pong VR (I definitely don't recommend this game)
    • Super Hot VR (VERY FUN game, highly recommended even if you only play to collect ESRB games)
    • Ultrawings

The closer I get to full ESRB set the more I buy PAL exclusive games.  I feel like eventually I'll have every physical release of a game.  Sometimes I end up with a PAL and ESRB version from shitty eBay tactics where they show photos of NA release but description states PAL.  Knowing damn well the PAL versions are far cheaper than NA versions.

Agreed re: Super Hot. I played on my Oculus Rift and it was great.

I played a good bit of it already and was a little frustrated with tracking.  Could be me not having a great setup for PSVR but I was thinking the game would be amazing if tracking was perfect.  Game needs to be ported to PSVR2.

  11. I'm STOKED!  I got a new (open box) PSVR finally.  Also got some PSVR games to add to the collection  I won't repost those games.  You can can just click the link below.

PSVR deserves the repost along with head wearing post..

  12. I always like forums that seem to have random cool video game characters.

    1. Pacman
    2. R-type
    3. Peach
    4. Tails
    5.  Doomguy
    6. Astro Bot
    7. Kratos
    8. Tom Nook
    9. Ryu
    10. Commander Shepard
    11. Bowser
    12. Sam Fisher
    13. Toad
    14. Crash
    15. Earthworm Jim
    16. Cid
    17. Knuckles
    18. Wario
    19. ....

    47. Agent 47

    48. Cloud Strife

    etc.

We could always have a drawing of an item to represent them.  Like Toad could be a mushroom, Bowser could be a spike turtle shell, Nuckles could be brass nuckles, Wario could be just his mustache.  Agent 47 is a bar code.  This could be very fun to come up with characters and something simple to represent them.  Also something that would be fun to draw.

Anyway, the ranking and names are random and that way we aren't trying to say some character is better than another because there no order/ranking.  Basically you just get a cool video game persona.

What, you trying to like an old Volvo where you just have the odometer roll over and you just mentally keep track how many times you've rolled over?  That would be a cool Charm to have 😏

Remember how cigarettes would be accused of marketing to kids?  I don't think SunnyD will have this problem.  I haven't seen SunnyD in the store in YEARS.  I don't think there will be any confusion over who this is marketed too.
