Looking for word suggestions for future Skribbl.io (PC browser Pictionary) sessions. The set of words the game has built in is fine, but sometimes words repeat themselves too often or they're not great, hence the custom words list.

I've come up with 'half-a-screen' worth of stuff to use (mostly nerdy in nature), but I figure we could use more. Anything you think would be fun to draw, please just write it down. And I mean anything: video games and consoles, video game characters, tv shows and movies + their characters, brand names, celebrities, well known VGS members, non-video games, etc.

*Multiple words per post would be best*

    15 - Berkana [Mega Man X-Treme 2]

@AverageOliver98 - I usually shy-away from Mega Man bosses because they always have an existing cartoon design - but I hadn't seen drawings of Berkana before, so it was fun to try a fresh take on this one.

Honestly, I wouldn't peg this Berkana to be hell-bent on stealing souls to raise an army of the dead (would make for a good 'shock' reveal though) Great job and thanks!

  3. Berkana from Mega Man Xtreme 2 (I believe her only game appearance, and an unpicked suggestion from last year)

And for something new, this boss from Rolan's Curse

Then this flower person... child... flower child?... the sprite towards the left side (from Rolan's Curse 2)

And for something older, the Incredible Wizard from... The Incredible Wizard (Wizard of Wor in arcades) on the Bally Astrocade (the yellow sprite with the polo mallet)

This was purchased on a whim and I'm pretty sure this is the original sticker because this thing was marked for $30!  Who was paying $30 for media in 1981?!

People paying $30 or more for media in 1981 was just about everyone. The first VHS and Beta films were sold for $100 each in 1977, and while most prices went down as the 80's went on, new releases were still priced rather high (someone here mentioned their parents paying $70 for Top Gun when it released and I've got a film called 'The Cotton Club' (1985 release) with 79.95 printed on the sleeve).

  6. Thunder Force V turned 25 today... or yesterday, depending where you live.

Fun fact: a 'Prologue' song was made for the Saturn version of the game (different from the PSX release), but was never implemented. Luckily, it was included on the official CD soundtrack (with the narration included.. yay).

  7. So if Mario Kart doesn't win for Game Night on this round (the 9th), can I suggest it not be put on the poll for the 23rd? I'll (hopefully) be on a boat fishing for the first time in 8 years or so that weekend.

Another of my all time favorite tracks.  (The audio compression is really noticeable in this one compared to the CD).

Are you aware of  Parts 1 and 3 of 'The Justice Ray' as well?

I don't know if it was Hyakutaro Tsukumo's(Technosoft's Head/Only(?) composer post-1992) intention to have all three songs combined into one medley, but based on someone's arrangement, they do sound like they fit together.

A little bit skeptical if 'Wirbelwind's Theme' should even be considered Part 4.

Still a great track regardless. Not sure why its used for the first boss though.

Kirby's Dream Land released on the Game Boy in Japan back on April 27th, 1992!

The Kirby series will always have a special place in my heart: Its one of the few series where just about every game I tried was a joy to play and it was also the first instance of me wanting to go back and play previous installments, which would lead me down the path of video game collecting.
