I think the white Dreamcast still looks quite modern. Beyond that, I don't think much else has held up. In terms of all consoles ever made, I think the slim white XBox One S may be the sexiest.

$20 is the price point for me to "experience" the first ten hours then never play again.

People say this to me all the time, but it does work! You need to take a proper dose (1g) and take on a schedule! I can show you about 10 studies that show it is great for pain. But, if you don't want to take it, that's cool too. I just hope you can find a decent solution to this problem. If it was up to me, I'd gladly be paying higher taxes to make sure your healthcare was covered and no human ever ends up this situation.

Sounds like you're in a rough spot no matter what. In the end, it's gonna be up to you based on your time and money situation. As for the pain, acetaminophen (Tylenol) is highly under-utilized and under-dosed for pain. As long as you have normal liver function, you can take 1g three times a day with little consequence. Even for major surgeries, some people are fine with 800mg ibuprofen and 1g of acetaminophen every 8 hours. I usually recommend 8am, 3pm, and 10pm. Good luck!

Off the top of my head: Celeste B and C sides and strawberries - One of the finest games and soundtracks ever created. Super fun figuring out how to use your abilities as you slowly discover they exist. Defeated the final boss of Shinobi (PS2) - Relatively unknown and underappreciated game that is super stylish and hard as nails. Super Meat Boy 100% - Those bandages and that Wanna Be the Guy stage. The final levels in Trials HD/Evolution/Fusion - If you want a reason to smash your controller, just play these games. Holy difficulty curve, Batman! 45 Minute Challenge in Braid - One of the most fun and satisfying challenges I've ever negotiated. You have to plan out every move ahead of time and practice quite a bit, but totally worth it. If you've beaten this game, but never tried this challenge, you're missing out! Don't use a guide! Another all-time great. Awesome thread @Ninja Warriors!
