    For me it was bad. I played it on deployment (AKA almost unlimited free time) and still felt it wasn't worth playing. But I seem to be in the minority. Most people loved it.

    I forgot about Cuphead since I played it on Xbox. That and Celeste make for 2D heaven. Haven't tried Blazing Chrome.

    This is pretty much it. This data gathering allowed for targeted marketing when demographics weren't as easily accessible as they are today. They would occasionally throw you a bone like a poster, coupon, or chance to buy directly from the company. In the PS1 days, registering might even net you a free demo disc for an upcoming game. That's how I got my God of War demo disc.

    Wait, are you saying Goose ejected out of a Top Gun cartridge and into this copy of Captain Skyhawk and has been hidden as an unlockable Easter egg that can only be accessed by spelling out Anthony Edwards in Morse code? Because that's quite a claim and I don't believe it.

    Chrono Trigger FF7 FF6 I know there is a ton of other great stuff out there, but those three are my God tier.

    I think it's gotta be Chrono Trigger. The graphics, the music, the mechanics, and even the simplistic story woven with interesting characters. It's as close to perfect as any videogame has ever been. It's a truly special game. Some other beloved games for me (in no particular order):

    They must have been inspired by the PS2 game because it also had a huge difficulty spike for the final boss. Although I found the rest of the game challenging as well.

    A Link to the Past is number one for me, but Breath of the Wild is a very close second.

    I never knew that Shinobi on 3DS was really difficult, but I very specifically remember banging my head against the wall trying to beat Shinobi on PS2. It was quite good, but definitely rage-inducing. But I'm a masochist so I eventually beat it.

    I use the My Game Collection Premium app on Android. It's not the best at everything, but the custom labeling and sorting is really powerful.
