Best find in the wild was probably finding a Saturn in the box at Goodwill a decent while back. On Ebay, I took a shot in the dark and bought an as-is Sega CD with a Genesis attached. It was 80, and actually works really well. Sold the Genesis for 15 I think, so a solid deal for a working model 2 CD.

I have some boxed games I might try selling in the future (specifically late Genesis/32X style cardstock). Was wondering what the best method would be for shipping boxed retro games? Don't have much experience myself so input from experienced collector's would be neat

Most Sega consoles look good. Saturn I'd say looks the sleekest next to other tech.

I have a lot more records than I do games. Vinyl is cool, I don't really think it sounds that much better or anything, but it's very nice to have in your hands and from the stores I've been to you can still find some great stuff for cheap. At least cheaper or the same as buying the album on itunes or something...

Haven't been to too many but I enjoy the experience I've seen: ZZ Top, Boz Scaggs, Paul McCartney, and most recently Tame Impala a few weeks ago.

I'm a zoomer but I found AVGN videos as a kid and it led me to watching a lot of the bigger retro-tubers. I always thought it was cool and thank god I was able to get a couple systems at flea markets before prices got insane. Now that I work and have had a bit of disposable income the past few years I was finally able to start using them/getting more systems when I could find them for a decent price. I really just collect what I plan to play, and some ventures like my couple 32X games I'll probably get rid of my small collection is pretty well curated. That being said I absolutely love seeing huge cib collections, full sets, etc.

I also have never gotten far in SMB. I get it's significance but the next games make it kind of obsolete imo. Another one for me though is Super Metroid, I enjoyed what I played but I put it down after a while and feel obligated to restart whenever I do get back to it. I love metroidvanias, SotN is one of my favorites but I've never given it the time it probably deserves

Beat Dragon Warrior on the NES for the first time a few days ago Not insanely difficult but I definitely had some frustrating deaths lol. Still a pretty charming game, it holds up a lot better than I thought before playing it for more than an hour. Bought 2 recently online I can't wait to start that up.
