  1. Mega Man 6 is easily the best of the "buster trilogy." 4 and 5 feel really run of the mill, but 6 changed up a lot with the branching levels and rush armor mechanics. Rescue Rangers 2 does let you pick levels in the second half of the game. It does add a bit more story, which helps it feel more like the cartoon. Duck Tales 2 is a lot of fun with the upgrades and the hidden treasure map pieces. Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles Quest 2, are both pretty rough so I haven't gotten that into them, but seem very impressive. Even Mighty Final Fight does a fair job of cramming what they can into a pint sized 8 bit brawler. Really all of the late Capcom NES games range from good to great. Less iconic sure, but still well worth playing.
  2. Didn't spring for that toxic lemon controller? XD Keep us posted with how the game goes. I'm getting it thru Gamefly so I should have it in a couple days.
  3. Hong Kong is the final boss
  4. Looks weird af. I'm in.
  5. Hollow Knight Cuphead Blazing Chrome Celeste River City Girls Shovel Knight Inside Hyper Light Drifter
  6. With the TG16 mini coming next year, I plan to dive into some of those titles. The US library is on the smaller side so I think this is the only one listed that would be do-able.
  7. Should have been called Terminator: Legion to keep it biblical like Judgement Day, Salvation, and Genesys. Linda Hamilton was bad@$$. Arny only shows up in the second half, but has some great one liners. It was alrite, fine saturday matinee type of flick. I left in a good mood, even if I will prob forget about the movie in a week. The Sarah Conner Chronicles is still the best follow-up to the first two films. It kept the tone of the first two movies and expanded the mythos with some great serialized storytelling in a time when prime-time shows were only starting to do that. The practical effects are great and packs in some good action despite being on a tv show budget. Some spotty CG and a cliffhanger ending are the only downsides, if you can get over that, it is still a great watch.
  8. Welcome buddy Don't forget to hit the club tab and join the Werewolf club!
  9. Think you could do 150x150 without it really stretching out the forum or anything. Lots of dead space around those tiny squares. If concerned with space then link to avatars off-site. At the very least it would be nice if they were at 100x100 so images could scale easier.
  10. Ray Tracing. Video games are about to get lit.
  11. I played the first hour with a buddy. Good mix of old school RIver City Ransom gameplay with more modern art and humor. If you enjoy beat em ups, I’d check it out.
  12. Used to be over the moon about open world, rpg's, and online multiplayer games Now just give me a good single player story driven action/adventure game or a throwback indie title and I'm good
  13. Talk about putting the forum thru the shredder. I mean the old posts are there, you might be able to glue the strips back together if you knew what you were looking for. Jeez.
  14. Couldn't be less interested in Crown Jewel and the build for it. Will prob start watching WWE again around Survivor Series.
  15. At one point I could no death Contra years ago. Not sure if I would be able to now, those sitting purple goobers in the last stage always seemed to peg me. Super C feels like a whole different animal. Harder game and I feel a lot less familiar with it.
  16. Maybe some kind of atonal "cast a spell" sound effect
  17. What's up Sages? Crossing over from the old site. Into both new school and old school stuff, big titles and indie. Likely to be rocking PS4 or Switch as I am my SNES/NES collection. I like Spooky movies. Signed up for the Werewolf game, it should be dope.
  18. Betting there will be no new/revamped site at the end of the month. No update or announcement either.
  19. @Kguillemette Good to have someone with outside experience. Where did you play before? KC is a good host, runs a tight game, should be dope. @ap123 Welcome to Werewolf. Town need to communicate with each other and question each other to figure out who is part of the town and who is not town. They also need to organize a vote and lynch the players who are not town. Wolves need to keep their noses to the ground and not get themselves killed. @0xDEAFC0DE You got the basics then. It is a bit more tricky because you can't read people by voice and body language and have to read their posts. But you do get the benefit of everything everyone says being collected and written down, which can be handy.
  20. The sniping is very good. If you are into that or using stealth/traps then you will love it. 2 is pretty straightforward. While 3 and 4 are a bit more open sandbox-y, with big maps that you can tackle in different ways. I enjoyed 3 the best because the Africa setting was cool and different from most games.
  21. Before there was Demon's Souls there was King's Field. All the trapping of a souls game way back on the PS1, cept first person.
  22. Good to see a lot of familiar names returning. Couple I don't recognize. Who is an old face with a new name and who is totally new this game?
