Played the anniversary version, cool trap concept and it even manages to subvert expectations on you, having the dude you are helping turn villain and him being able to control traps to mess with you. Quite the “double switch” But even with the improved interface and a list of time codes to get access to all the traps and avoid the insta-lose scenes, I wasn’t able to capture enough normal baddies to meet the quota. You need the entire game memorized top to bottom and make a near flawless run if you want to finish it.

Typed a huge post, then went back to the top to slap a video on the top line and the video deleted like half my post. I had what I was working on open in a word doc so I was able to recover it, but embedding videos can sometimes create some weird formatting errors it seems. Just be warned.

Really enjoy the two man review style they have taking SNES games and putting them up against their Genesis rivals. Good breakdown of games and the differences between systems. Common knowledge seems to be that the Super NES had the better version...but things are a lot more even than you would expect in a lot of videos. They have been around for years but still seem rather unknown. More people should check them out.

@ZeldaFreak great review Freak. I enjoyed it, pretty simple war story about two soldiers going behind enemy lines and all the crazy action that they run across. The gimmick is that it is pretty much one continuous shot (almost) as if a cameraman was just following behind them. Huge technical and production feat. Pretty much all the set pieces you would want from a WW1 movie and a nice human story under it. @Wandering Tellurian At the end, it says it is based on the war stories of the director’s grandfather. So I guess it was a fictionalized version events. unless you are one of those “why didn’t they ride the eagles to mt doom and drop the ring in from a mile up” boys XD

Been hitting some of these 32x titles. I owned a 32x back in the day, picked up on clearance for $30. I had VRacing and Cosmic Carnage, so I know all about Cosmic Carnage haha. The main reason I got it was Knuckles Chaotix which my copy didn't work so I didn't get a chance to play it till now. I'm digging Tempo and NBA Jam. Tempo is just quirky and kind of cool and it seems like NBA Jam got one of if not the best home ports, still fun to play today. I'm not super impressed with the 3D titles, maybe they were a cool use of tech in 1994 but don't wow now or maybe I just don't care much for flight sims. thanks for the suggestions sages

Even better in person. Crowd went wild when Drew eliminated Brock and Edge returned. Keith Lee also was super over with the fans. Match told a great story of Brock acting like king of the mountain over for Ricochet to get receipt on the low blow, Drew not just knocking Brock out, but winning the whole thing. Also they were able to weave in a bunch of other story lines and surprise entries and other callbacks. Best Rumble of the last 5/10 years easy, one of the best of all time.

Had the PSX version but never finished it. Load times were kinda a buzzkill. What is the best way to play this in 2020? GBA? iPhone?

I got boned by Nintendo Picked up the 3ds and a bunch of mediocre titles at launch, only for them to cut the price by like 1/3 in less than 6 months. That was some bull$hit!

Seems like the Katamari Damacy of 2019, a fun silly game among the AAA open world loot box battle pass dregs

Get an adapter to convert to hdmi and then get the Mclassic. Should upscale to 720p and get rid of a lot of the jaggies on those old school titles.
