Hey everybody! It's to the point now where I feel very N64-y after the new year. Definitely looking forward to knocking some stuff out. I'm gonna look through my games today to get a gameplan, but definitely want to do Road Rash and the 3 boxing games.

I'll try Wailai Country Club Golf for a while. I would've been able to win a tourney 20+ years, but not sure how fast it'll come back to me...

Very fun game for an auto scroller.  Very unforgiving as well if u die.  Puts you back with no upgrades to your main weapon which is very helpful on defeating all the bosses quicker.

Agreed. Surprisingly good gameplay, but you almost have to no-death-run it.

That being said, if you knock that one out, I won't be offended.  I'll post if I beat it. If I get the fake internet points for it, great!  If not, I'm not worried. I'm on the board with Tetrisphere, so I'm fine.

It is ridiculous how difficult IG-88 is. It is fast, soaks up tons of damage and kills you quickly. I've always had to use heavier ammo to beat him which you really can't do to win the game.

Come to think of it, I may find all the bosses in this game to be that way...

I'm nearing 20 hours into DK64 with just a boss and King K. Rool left and I am maybe 40% through all the teams on Showtime on NBC.

My daughter just wanted to play through this with me and I had to remind her of hitting the wall of excruciating monotony by level 40

You have to beat Ms PacMan twice to actually 'beat it' which I find demoralizing. That would be a good one.

Still working on NBA Showtime on NBC. I'll also start up DK64 which is perhaps my favorite game on the system.

EDIT:  And done.  I played through it on the Project 64 emulator, and being able to use 2 analog sticks made it, presumably, a much better experience than with the N64 controller.  Solid game, worth checking out if you're a fan of the franchise I think.

Been playing Battlezone Rise of Black Dogs. I think I only have 2-3 levels left....hopefully done this weekend. 

So, I noticed @LeatherRebel5150 and @ZeldaFan042 beat Bass Hunter 64 the last couple years. Any tips on getting fish to bite in the later tournaments? I don't recall struggling near this much in the past, but it is working me this time around.

Rainbow Six down. Inwas pleasantly surprised. Actually a pretty good game

I don't recall struggling this much with Bass Hunter...I will be taking a break to play some others. I'll start beating some teams on NBA Showdown and give Rainbow Six a try.

I have never given shooters other than 007/Perfectdark a shot. How was it?

Currently playing through Bass Hunter 64. Enjoying the game, but definitely more tournaments than I remember.

I'd actually say Tiberian Sun feels more like the true final installment in the original C&C series than Tiberian Wars. Sun has a FAR more desperate, desolate feel like the world is fully succumbing to Tiberian infestation, with all the mutants and abominations and abandoned cities and stuff.

The world seems in far better shape in Wars, even though it's supposed to be further along the timeline, and the units are way less futuristic and advanced than in Sun too... Really does not add up at all to me, honestly.

If there was ever a horror RTS game, Tiberian Sun would fit the bill. They did such a great job making a creepy atmosphere.
