I stay home, watch the same horror movies and eat candy. I don't have any friends so parties are out, too old to trick or treat and I'm a scardy cat so no haunted houses. So toss some ideas at me. As tradition dictates I will probably also listen to Helloween - Halloween and drink some spiced rum and apple cider. Probably in bed by 930. Then home to watch Nightmare Before Christmas and pass out with some Glenlivet whiskey before the newborn inevitably gets us all up at 2. For your purposes, I'd look into ALTQQ's suggestion. Though we always see different movies, and try to make it themed (this year is at my house, and it'll be evil clowns. I got Evil Klowns from Outer Space in Blu Ray for the occasion, and some less known movies are in youtube. We even wear costumes sometimes. It's great seeing all the little kids excited, wearing costumes and witches hats, having fun playing games and winning treats! My brother and I let the kids pick out what they want. By the end of the night, we give the kids handfuls of whatever's left and call it a day.
