As I mentioned to you earlier, in terms of prototypes and unreleased stuff, I'm about as knowledgeable as anyone out there. I don't believe there is a collector on this site that has more firsthand experience when it comes to prototype collecting.

I'm a big Mike Patton fan, and love many of his side-projects. Mr. Bungle is brutal though. A few of my friends are diehard Bungle fans, but I find it mostly unlistenable.

Follow-up regarding my incredible fame: The emails were from two different individuals, one of which just called the gym and left a message. Seems like a super nice guy, so I’ll give him a buzz back. It’s fucking Beatlemania over here.

I got this message a few days before, and just assumed it was the same guy. Not sure. I get stupid shit like this all time. I sent Frank basically every rom I had years and years ago. I have an incredibly small handful of unique roms at this point that I can’t release/share for one reason or another. Everything else is either with Frank or easily found on the web.

He must just done a search for my name? I don’t know. I talked about the gym a decent amount on NA, so maybe he did some digging. It’s always the same thing though: “Do you still have _______________ prototype, and can you dump the rom?”

I post one every four months, but I still regularly get emails/PMs on various message boards regarding prototypes and roms.

My school district will be fully remote for September and October, and the plan is to go to a hybrid model in November. All school districts in Massachusetts have to have three models ready for the fall (fully in person, hybrid, remote), knowing full well we’re not returning in person any time soon. Florida has mandated an in-person option for all students for this coming school year starting in August I’m guessing we see a spike on the National level once hotspots like Florida force a reopening, and we’ll ultimately stay remote for the entire school year. We’ve seen a spike in EEE positive mosquitoes the past two years, so it’s limited our ability to utilize outdoor space this fall. That’s a big reason for us starting remote among other things.

Oddly enough, the guy in the ring with Mike in this picture is the only opponent the two shared: Trevor Berbick. Edit: Totally forgot Holmes! So, one of two opponents.

I worked at a day camp while in college, and they had these fucking MASSIVE ground wasp. You could hear them flying from many feet away. They had a nest right by the pool. They were Cicada Killers, noted in the article you linked. In the few years I worked there, I never hear of them stinging or biting anyone, but they sure were scary. It’s the only place I’d ever seen them, and they were there every year.

Like Arch, I’d have a tough time choosing between The Thing and Big Trouble. As far as least favorite film, it’s The Fog by a country mile. I never understood the appeal of that film. I thought it was awful.

Actually..... It’s not! This isn’t from the main stack. The only things running on this waste pipe were the kitchen sink and dish washer. While it DEFINITELY didn’t smell awesome, I’m glad it wasn’t shit.
