Tanooki | 4,934
I used to own Cybercity and Rising Sun. The first, it's anime, a rehash/slice n dice of Galaxy Express 999 if I remember correctly. It's really really pissy about timing, like you can know right when and where to fire, still lose, and no light gun so it's moving a cross hair which doesn't help. THe other has a mix of mini games I guess you'd call them now that all are different scenarios needed to guard/defend and attack from your space on the map, even has archery sniping too. That one is a lot of fun, a real gem on there.

TDIRunner | 2,742
I bought this on sale on Prime Day. First time in years that I saw something I was interested in on Prime Day. I've been wanting to get a good wheel for a while now and this one seemed like the best value. I've really enjoyed it so far and it's been the only thing to pull me away from TOTK (although I will get back to that soon). It works on PS3, PS4 and PS5 (if I ever decide to get one). It can also be used with PC if I ever go that route. This really adds to the enjoyment of sim racing in my opinion. I passed on the matching shifter since it wasn't on sale during Prime Day, but I will probably add it eventually. The stand includes an extra shelf to hold the shifter. 6 2

You should get a cheap used PSVR headset and play Dirt Rally (PS4) or Gran Turismo Sport (PS4) to try VR racing. I forget if it's both games or just one, but they don't render the back part of the vehicle so you can look behind you and see you are driving only half a car 3

I just haven't had a chance to try it with the wheel yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. I've been extremely busy since getting the wheel, and my limited play time has been between 11 PM and 1 in the morning. Between this and TOTK, I would kill for some extra free time. FireHazard51 | 2,044 Social Team ·
Got me 2 vintage PS2 Head Mounted Displays (HMD) to add to my collection... Sony Glasstron PLM-50 - Japanese exclusive HMD, first commercially sold HMD. Spoiler Sony Glasstron PLM-A55 - 3rd HMD released for commercial use and the last one for the PS2 era of HMD. Spoiler I plan on eventually doing a full review and history of Sony's HMDs that lead up to the PSVR. It'll be a blog and video post. 1 1
360collector | 289
A few long time saved searches here. Crash Time 2 I had almost given up on and have been kicking myself for years because I passed up a somewhat beat up copy5-6 years ago. Super happy to finally get it and complete the series on 360. Gray Matter is a weird one, I never saw this around when it came out so not the most common to see, I bought it from some freak in sweden. Another problem with a lot of thses weird games is that they got spanish etc releases that clogs up the searches. Pretty nice getting Megaman 6 outside ebay since it was not released here. The rest of the nes games are SCN. Pro Yakyuu King 2 on n64 is one I never see a lot of copies of and there was no way im paying what cib costs so yeah another one that FINALLY was posted cart only in good condition.

Pro Yakyuu King 2 isn’t too hard to find cart only but CIB is a pain. I think that and Mario no Photopi are probably the hardest to find CIB for the Japanese N64. 1
wyansas | 131
It's been a great summer. Was fortunate to find a couple Konami 5 screws that I was mentally prepared never to find, as well as a Rad Racer -1, and a French and a Scandinavian variant of SMB that I didn't know existed. Only 2 or 3 more Marios before I'd consider that collection complete. Anybody have a black Samurai (that you want to sell and not just tease me with )?

Code Monkey | 2,011
I received my Super NT orders from Analogue. One classic colour, one black. I haven't yet decided which one I want to keep, I could go black to match my Mini NT Noir or I could go classic to match the vintage system. I picked these up at a local Facebook group sale, putting me at 535 unique cartridges. This also arrived from Limited Run Games.

MegaMan52 | 2,450
Got the new Resident Evil movie on Blu-ray. I believe the animated movies are canon, so Jill has finally met Leon. Downloaded The Great Gatsby for NES, based on the '20s book of the same name. It was originally an NES-style Flash Game (which can still be played), then later released as an actual NES ROM. There's an interesting interview with the creators of the game on Nintendo Player (formerly NES Player): http://www.nintendoplayer.com/interviews/greatgatsby/index.htm I subscribed to the Sonic Origins Plus Newsletter, and got some downloadable covers. These are the retro-style reversible cover images included with physical copies. There is, of course, also one for the U.S. and Canada, which I already have with my physical copy. I'll probably print these eventually and display them on a wall in one of my game rooms. A 2018 Chuck E. Cheese hat. The hat is adjustable, has Chuck E.'s face on the front, and "Chuck E. Cheese's" underneath. Edited July 26, 2023 by MegaMan52
