  1. 100% the biggest thing that sticks out in my mind is my loose cart of THPS2 on GBA. Gamestop gave me $0.25 for it. Those bastards. I wish I still had my childhood stuff, but that's been half sold/half misplaced. I might have some of it but I never kept track of what's what. All my favorite games were Nintendo games I played at my friends house anyway, I didn't have a Nintendo system until N64.
  2. Clancy, the main bad guy and final boss of Ninja Gaiden III. And he's festive.
  3. Oh no you're in the bootleg vinyl market too? Can I sell you some fake Yeezys at least
  4. I would want them and count them personally. I count the 3DO Vivid Interactive discs which are essentially just softcore porn video CDs. Original Game Boy has things that aren't games like Infogenius Spanish and Personal Organizer. On the other hand I wouldn't want PSP UMD movie discs if I collected PSP. So my standards are totally arbitrary.
  5. TG16 is cool but overhyped a bit. Bonk isn't better than Mario, Legendary Axe isn't better than Castlevania or Ninja Gaiden, Neutopia isn't better than Zelda. Good games, but not 'worth' 10x what NES/SNES counterparts are. Other 8-bit systems can't rival its shooters though. It's a B+ console with A+ pricing. If price doesn't matter, go crazy. Spend $100+ on Rondo of Blood, Gate of Thunder, Air Zonk, Ys, Nexzr, etc. There are sick PCE games, they just tend to be very pricey. There are not many $9 SMB3s or TLOZs on TG16/PCE. I would not buy random cheap games, save your money for the good stuff.
  6. I've mostly sent Wata personal favorites. Some of my lowest value stuff are the Steel Battalion games, Super Mario Galaxy, and NSMBU With the price bump I'll send less worthless crap, but eh, $25 for a fancy display case around a 10/10 game wasn't the worst deal.
  7. I like that a pretty good sealed Aladdin sold for $150 on HA, where prices are normally dumb especially for common/popular stuff. Definitely makes the $100 iam8bit reprint look extremely pointless when a real collectible is essentially the same price.
  8. Final Fight. I've tried every home version and can't beat Abigail yet. I suck at beat em ups.
  9. I've only got the two sizes. The 17L fits 40 DVDs perfectly or however many CDs the other way. It can hold 24 NES games but has a bit of wiggle room you might want to pad out.
  10. Graphics look cool, but it doesn't really tell us anything yet. I'm interested in the items, skills, and endgame. I enjoyed D3 but thought it was a bit of a letdown coming off D2, and as far as I'm concerned Path of Exile is currently on top of the genre, so they need something new that beats POE, not something that incrementally improves D3.
  11. Neat, this has potential to be the best one I think. I'd say Study Hall is already better than most X-mas carts. Looking forward to it.
  12. If anyone remembers the online-only game Wulfram 2, that would be cool to have back. Everything major I love has sequels already. I mean, I wouldn't mind another 2D Ninja Gaiden, Super Mario Bros., or Out Run, but I have a bunch of those I already enjoy. My thing is I get annoyed whenever we get a lazy years-old re-release or remaster instead of just making some new levels and giving us a brand new game. I'm looking at you Nintendo Switch. We could easily have already had a new NSMBU, DKC, Captain Toad, and Mario Kart right now with some actual development effort!
  13. I was waiting for Policenauts to be translated for the longest time, then after it was done I think I waited 10 years before getting around to playing it. I'm not too much into obscure stuff or RPGs, there's so many English games to play already, so I can't think of anything I'm waiting on.
  14. All my (and your) old NA avatars are pixel perfectish 120x120, currently scaled down to 90x90 for this forum. Before I go through the hassle of remaking them all I thought I'd selfishly see if anyone supports bringing back the old NA avatar size, or if we're sophisticated adults now who prefer the cleaner look.
  15. I wasn't allowed to have a TV in my bedroom when I was real young you lucky kids (my cool friends all did of course). We had a TV in the living room and I had to ask to use it! Now kids grow up with multiple screens growing out of their arms. This is pic of the first TV I was allowed to have in my room, from the mid 2000s
  16. Maybe this is GoCollect forum's Halloween costume
  17. The edges of Christmas start leaking into the back aisles of Walmart and home improvement stores by late September. By early November you'll start hearing Mariah Carey at the mall, as if anyone goes to the mall. Thanksgiving is just a speed bump on the way to Christmastown.

    I am loving this look.
  19. Such cool games, but it's hard to collect foreign (or mostly foreign in Amiga's case) computer games with the cost and shipping
  20. That's why we have this cool forum to discuss our strokes. Gimme perspective. How does something like this compare to the art world. Could you get a nice piece of one-of-a-kind art for $11,000 instead of this mass-produced albeit rare-in-this-state thing? I know we're in the brave new 2019 world, but damn for 5 figures I'd want the most special thing. I'm guessing $11k doesn't get you an A-list box art, but a B-list, Blades of Steel? D-list, The Mutant Virus? Today's prices, stuff you bought in 2005 doesn't count. Feel free to post pictures of the Blades of Steel and Mutant Virus art because I'd find it humorous if you actually had them.
