  1. I'm a pretty big box collector and I wouldn't pay more than $5 each for those. I wonder if you could get another 3/4 box from another rental store and put the 2 together.
  2. Many games were mismatched like this from the factory.
  3. Except one of those guys you mentioned abuses the system by fully funding their game without Kickstarter, completing it and then using the platform to gauge interest for pre-orders. That's why you know the game will be delivered, it's done before it ever hits Kickstarter, which I don't agree with. That's not the purpose of the platform. We need something in between this and Mystic Searches, something that could not otherwise get funded but also has realistic timelines and community support.
  4. Every NES game on Kickstarter since 2015 can blame this game as the sole reason I have not backed them. This game killed Kickstarter for me, I just don't trust it anymore. And Sydney Hunter. And Mighty No. 9.
  5. Be careful. I've bid on things where the owner of the item got his friend to keep bidding until it got to my maximum bid and then his friend won the item. The seller then makes up a story that the winning bidder backed out and asked if I wanted it for the next highest amount, it's a classic scam. What should technically happen is you should get the item for your highest amount that's below any of the winner's bids, not just his winning bid.
  6. I'm a code monkey (software developer).
  7. This is how you make a proper post, thanks for this. 1. The title is very descriptive, I know exactly what I will be reading if I click the title. 2. There's a brief writeup as well as a screenshot, instead of just a link and nothing else. 3. The source is included if I wish to read more. I do have a question though, I'm curious if they simply found the digital file for the game or was a cartridge found?
  8. 1. Movie / Comic related games. I expect the values of Wolverine, X-Men, Spiderman and Disney games to go way up from crossover in collecting. 2. Prototypes. I have no idea why prototypes to some of the most iconic games are still only worth $2000, there should be another zero on there. I personally think the development prototype to a popular game should be worth way more than a competition cartridge which has more than 100 copies known.
  9. Was it actually any good? The videos I see of it seem terrible but I really enjoyed Doom, Doom II and Doom 3.
  10. GoCollect owns this? Did they buy it at the auction? How much?
  11. I literally didn't even know this was a debate, I've never heard of it before. I don't know why anyone would ever hit space twice after a period.
  12. Here's what I have and the prices I paid in Canadian dollars: 10: Kid Klown Manual = $50 from a Nintendo Age member Box = $50 from a local purchase in a $1050 bundle with other games 9. Zombie Nation Manual = $40 locally but found out a week later it was fake so returned it Box, manual, cartridge and all inserts except the registration card = $700 locally in a $1050 bundle with other games 8. Bubble Bobble Part 2 Manual = $50 from a Nintendo Age member Box and cartridge = $460 USD from eBay 7: Dragon Fighter Haven't been able to find anything for this locally 6. Power Blade 2 I found one for $1100 locally but no manual. I turned it down. I haven't found anything else for this locally. 5. Bonk's Adventure I had a complete one in my hands a few days ago but the owner won't sell it for anything below full value. I haven't found anything else for this locally. 4. Panic Restaurant I won a $800 auction on Nintendo Age a few years ago that included the back of this cartridge, the board and the manual. After winning the auction at 5pm on Friday, I left work for the weekend and didn't log in from home. On Monday morning I saw he gave it to the next highest bidder because I hadn't contacted him when the auction ended. Laaaaaaaaaaaaame. I haven't found anything else for this game locally. 3. The Flintstones: Surprise At Dinosaur Peak A local guy has a complete one but it's in his keep pile. I will eventually get it from him but he's not ready to let go yet. 2. Little Samson I have not found anything for this game locally. 1. Stadium Events A local game store threw one of these into the $5 sports bin about 15 years ago but that's the only local story I've ever heard of one. The employee that made this mistake ended up purchasing the store and is now the owner of 3 locations. He told me the story himself.
  13. I will get that prototype from you just like I got 3. Some day.
  14. I will get that prototype from you just like I got 3. Some day.
  15. Can we get The Incident and Battle Kid on there now? I'd buy those. Also 64 Bit Xmas 2020
  16. Wait. One is circle seal and one is oval seal so this may be more obvious than I was originally aware of.
  17. I realized some boxes have the REV-A farther to the right than other boxes. The ones farther to the right seem to be less common and it looks like these were accompanied by a T-shirt promotion sticker on the cellophane.
  18. I already built this at www.nestalgia.ca and I have an Android application as well which I haven't published yet. I only use it personally but it works really well. I know I still need to filter out unlicensed games from the list but it has all of the data from the sealed contents game list from the other site. I spent hours entering it.
  19. Last year I called the 8 remaining Blockbusters in Alaska and Texas to ask them if they had any vintage games left for sale. Half of them said they had a bunch of PlayStation 2 games but nothing older.
  20. Lego Movie 2 Lego Jurassic Park Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
