  1. Do you need another sealed Play Action Football? There's one at a pawn shop here for $25.
  2. I went through my first of three bins of manuals and here's what I found so far. Star Code: 1943 A Nightmare On Elm Street Battle Chess Bigfoot Blades Of Steel Cabal California Games Championship Bowling Code Name Viper Crystalis Dick Tracy Disney's Chip And Dale Rescue Rangers Goal! Gremlins 2 Heavy Barrel Circle T: Golf Grand Slam Galaxy 5000 Formula One: Built To Win Flight Of The Intruder Family Feud Dragon's Lair Double Dragon III Disney's The Little Mermaid Disney's Tale Spin Disney's Darkwing Duck Caveman Games Castelian Captain America And The Avengers Break Time: The National Pool Tour Race America Adventure Island II Advanced Dungeons And Dragons: Heroes Of The Lance
  3. I have about over 500 NES manuals, I can take a look through, I have lots of circle-T and star codes. I can confirm I have a circle-T Tetris and I have also seen a star code for either Contra or Super C, I can't remember right now.
  4. I pay a $20 annual fee to EmuMovies which gives me box art, cartridge, manual PDF, video samples, title art, anything you can imagine for any system. It's mostly used for customizing MAME cabinets.
  5. I would say it's causing quite a spike in some of the comic related stuff.
  6. My absolute best haul. My boss at a previous job asked if I collect games, he said he had a few boxes he could give me. He unloads the back of his truck into my car and this is what I find when I get home. It's all the best games from a personal collection, all Mega Man, Zelda, Super Mario, Contra. There is a variety of NES, SNES, N64 and Atari 2600 with accessories like the Power Glove, various controllers and multiple different consoles. The most valuable item in the lot is an incredibly uncommon Atari 2600 game titled Spider Maze, it's worth about $150. The price? It was completely free.
  7. I was undecided about sending them games before. Now I have decided for sure.
  8. Wait a minute, they put the opened copy in the case with the sealed grade on it and sealed copy in the other case?
  9. Dead Cells. I have tried over 100 times, I cannot do it.
  10. If that second one is fake then there are going to be a lot of angry Starfox Weekend collectors.
  11. I made a list of all NES games with release dates and it looks like every game available prior to January 1988 has a 5 screw version except The Karate Kid and Side Pocket. They were both late releases in November 1987 along with some other rares like Mega Man and Star Force so I'm wondering if they just haven't been discovered yet. Here is the pre-1988 sheet I made. 10-Yard Fight Irem Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Baseball Nintendo Research & Development 1 Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Clu Clu Land Nintendo Research & Development 1 Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Duck Hunt Nintendo Research & Development 1 Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Excitebike Nintendo Research & Development 1 Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Golf Nintendo Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Gyromite Nintendo Research & Development 1 Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Hogan's Alley Nintendo Research & Development 1,Intelligent Systems Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Ice Climber Nintendo Research & Development 1 Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Kung Fu Nintendo Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Mach Rider Nintendo Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Pinball Nintendo Research & Development 1 Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Stack-Up Nintendo Research & Development 1 Nintendo Nintendo October 18, 1985 Super Mario Bros. 12. The other variant has both English and French text and the red border is changed to blue. It was in all -CAN variants of the game.
  13. Earlier this year I was playing Hollow Knight and randomly stopped my game one night at something called The Trial Of Fools. I didn't know what it was but I knew I was having surgery the next day and had a full week off work to finish the rest of the game. I played that battle for 10 hours a day, a week straight and the night before I went back to work, I finally beat it. I got nowhere in the game, the only thing I accomplished was that boss battle. That was probably the hardest thing I've ever done.
  14. Did we ever find out when we're getting Cuphead, Blaster Master Zero, Blazing Chrome and Myst? We were told by the end of the year.
  15. That is super cool, I think there are only about 10 known 3 screw variants of this game, is that right? This adds to the story they were all refurbished.
  16. How did you pay? PayPal costs 9 Euros which is against their Terms Of Service.
  17. I can beat the highest level of Dr. Mario on the fastest setting in under 4 minutes.
  18. It's for the end of your garden hose, screw it on and kids can play in it.
  19. I'll give you my experience. I had really bad eyesight as a kid and didn't really socialize with other kids so I spent every hour of every day in front of the NES playing games. After the first 6 months of having the NES, I went for an eye exam and the doctor said there was a 50% improvement, something he had never seen before. He asked what changed recently and apparently it was all of the repetitive muscle movement of looking around the screen for 12 hours a day. My eyes continued to get better, my glasses got smaller and 20 years later I was able to get Lasik and be glasses free. I don't have kids but if I did, I'd like them play as long as they want.
