  1. I'm a sucker for 80s synth pop and pop rock, but 80s pop ballads are just awful. I went with The Outfield, Biz Markie, Elle King, and The Darkness.
  2. Cresco Labs (CRLBF) may be a good low key marijuana stock to keep an eye on. Seem to be getting more and more attention lately and are up almost 1000% in the last year. I took a stake this morning, probably for a long term hold.
  3. I'm still being bad and avoiding the backlog. Just started The Medium on XSX and it looks like it should be a good experience. Whittling away at Paper Mario and then hopefully back to Demon's Souls.
  4. Unfortunately this is not a new problem. They've had these same stock issues since the first Nt was released in 2015. It's something about their business model. Has it been exacerbated by the pandemic? Probably. But this is nothing new for them. In fact, during the pandemic they've announced two new consoles rather than restock older stuff. It's just how they do business. That's a great question. They had a very small restock of the black version, but I'm pretty sure that's it. Supposedly they will have more of all colors ready for summer 2020 (). https://support.analogue.co/hc/en-us/articles/360002194972-Super-Nt-Restocks-and-Nt-mini-Availability-2018
  5. Bitcoin is always gonna be one of those "what if" investments for me. I would never personally invest in it long term and I can never predict the short runs. Musk should just invest a billion once every 6 months, tweet about it, then immediately take his 100 million dollar profit. Of course that's just chump change to him, but still.
  6. 7 Super Bowls. Unbelievable. Do you know how many Hall of Fame QBs have zero Super Bowl wins? Well, neither do I. But I bet it's a lot. Serious props to Brady and the whole Bucs team for making it look easy.
  7. I suspect they are 100% self-funded and work in cyclical R&D and production runs, rather than doing things simultaneously. When they release a new console, they seem to emphasize profit margin and go for 100% sell-through. Warehouse fees are a significant burden on small businesses and can really eat into profits, so I'm thinking that's the motivation there. It also means their production schedule is very predictable, another big plus for a small business. Then they just roll into R&D until they run out of money, prompting a new product preorder or another run of an old project. Or they're just bad at business and/or have production problems.
  8. I agree that the button layout and ergonomics seem to be terrible. I just want the ability to play pretty much every portable game on my TV in 1080p, using an authentic cart, with FPGA emulation, and essentially zero latency. I will probably only use it as a handheld on rare occasions.
  9. When I was deep into NES collecting I convinced myself that maybe I should keep multiples in case I open a retro game store one day. But as my collection ballooned and my need for space expanded, I began to resent my five extra copies of Silent Service. I eventually made the decision to sell and never looked back. I find the space is more valuable to me than the reassurance an extra copy provides. Variants are another story as I really enjoy collecting those, but standard doubles and triples have to go.
  10. I believe all the discontinued colors were specifically created as limited runs. I'm not sure why they keep them up.
  11. I don't think the Nt will ever be restocked since they advertised the Nt Mini Noir as "One Final Run." I suppose there is a chance they could bring back a plastic version, but they don't seem interested. As for the Mega Sg and Super Nt, several people have been told by email that they will restock at some point. No, pretty much everything has been extremely popular. The Mega Sg has probably been the weakest of the lineup though. It was in stock for like a year straight which is unheard of for their products.
  12. Seven years is a great accomplishment. Stick with it, friend.
  13. Yeah, that's one thing I didn't expect to like so much when I started on this set. The really colorful front art combined with the blue stripe looks really clean. Sadly, the spines don't display nearly as well due to the non-uniformity of the "Sega CD" labeling. The gray logo looks especially ugly. I'll definitely post a pic when I get the set filled out.
  14. A whole bunch of awesome stuff came in this week courtesy of this community and eBay. Big thanks to @jonebone, @dr_orangejuicer, and @Matthewnimmo. 32X set is coming along nicely, although still a ways to go on Sega CD and SMS.
  15. Some new local stuff and a specialty drink from my favorite Colorado brewery. Will update with results later.
  16. The worst part is that eBay prices seemed like they were finally settling a bit. I've gotten quite a few good deals over the last month.
  17. I would really prefer to play Control on Xbox, but you can't beat free.
  18. Yeah, you're talking about a limit buy, which is totally fine. @arch_8ngel is just providing you with a way to make a little premium on the purchase if that specific cash secured put is available. It can be a smart way to get into buying stocks if you're okay with having that money tied up while you wait.
  19. I think he's referring to the fact that a puts are sold in 100 share increments, making it available to you as a bundle of 100 shares as soon as your price hits.
  20. Never played it, but hopefully will someday. It is on the bottom of my console set list plan due to price. Maybe I'll start going after it if I stumble on a good deal. Otherwise I'll just have to wait until I'm done saving for my kids' college.
  21. Literally impossible to predict. I'd rather jump on AMC if it hits 5.
  22. I would definitely play through again as bird guy.
