  1. The biggest issue I see is that they've already run up 150% since October. Next earnings report isn't until April.
  2. Screenshots look cool! One thing Cyber Shadow definitely lacked is variety in the environments. The color palette is very bland. I would highly encourage anyone who does play to check out some of the feats. They match up with achievements/trophies, but mostly they're just fun. I really enjoyed going back and completing the pacifist feat in the first area. Most of them are quite well designed and are the best reason to replay areas (outside of speedrunning, which should be fun to watch for this game).
  3. I haven't been watching them. I was looking at eHealth though. They've got a big upside according to analysts. I really need to put some money in soon though because it's been sitting in my bank account doing nothing for too long.
  4. Finished up tonight. Very cool game. When you have all the movement abilities, some of the levels feel like a puzzle as you slice through enemies at breakneck speed to maintain momentum without ever touching the ground. The bosses are fantastic; some of the best in any 2D action platformer I've ever played. I really enjoyed the throwback style of the final boss as well. Younger me would have jumped right back into hard mode, but current me will call it good and move on to the next game. EDIT: Apparently there is no hard mode? But judging by the fact it says "Mode: Normal" on the continue screen, hard mode is probably coming at some point.
  5. Never played it, but I'd like to. I'm on board if Analogue ever releases a Saturn FPGA or if I ever get a Polymega with all add-ons.
  6. PS2 is actually where I played Half-Life. It was pretty meh, but I have no idea how it compares to the game on an age-appropriate PC.
  7. Alright skinny @docile tapeworm grinny, I'm gonna need you to ship those cards back to me. Apparently I was a secret millionaire.
  8. I don't think The Mist is a bad movie, but I always felt like it never really earned its ending. It just kind of pulled the rug out from under the viewer for no good reason. Definitely bleak though.
  9. I figured it would be mediocre when launch was approaching and they had still shown zero gameplay. Then they delayed the game and made it essentially free. I might give it a try, but I don't have high hopes.
  10. I agree with Reed. I didn't feel hopeless or depressed after watching it. It certainly presents a dark vision of the future, but the father-son journey is fantastic.
  11. Both those movies are legitimately awesome, although I think The Road is a hair better.
  12. That type of insert being a reproduction doesn't bother me since it has no art or personality. I agree with others that it's nice to have for the structural integrity of the box and I have added a few of these repro inserts to my collection over the years. If you're concerned about forgetting, just make a small mark on the cardboard to ensure you remember when you go to sell.
  13. Have you ever seen Eden Lake? Great cinematography and strong performances, but it bothered me for a while after watching it. Since then I've mostly avoided nihilistic movies.
  14. Looks like earnings were actually pretty good, but sentiment is still bullish. I'll definitely put them on my watch list.
  15. His first mistake was having money to lose. When I was 21, I had $3 in my bank account, so I couldn't lose 25K if I wanted to.
  16. Could you imagine being so invested in a hobby that you would spend $2000 on a single item while simultaneously being so lazy/incompetent that you don't even do the most basic amount of research beforehand? I cannot.
  17. HOLD! He'll still be driving much of what they do in his new position and they are already set up for success. He has mastered the art of pushing their valuation. The way they spend several quarters funneling revenue into R&D and infrastructure/logistics, then rapidly swing into pure profit mode to please shareholders has been ridiculously effective. Unless some sort of serious anti-trust litigation comes their way, they should continue their steady climb towards world domination.
  18. Nice. I bought MS as a value buy in 2018 related to their overall business rather than anything to do with Xbox and it's been good to me. Up about 115% since then and it has a nice dividend.
  19. Buying the dips is extraordinarily hard to do. I agree with the strategy of having a stop loss in place using profits from other sales to cover your loss. If I had bought GME at 150, I would have automatically sold at 135 after a further 10% drop.
  20. Damn dude, what made you jump on that? Great call. Just holding my bag of silver profits.
  21. Generally I agree regarding CGI, but I just watched Alita: Battle Angel and it had some of the best action sequences I've ever seen. If they had cut out the absolutely cringeworthy young adult drama/romance and cleaned up the editing (the movie jumps around constantly with non-sequiturs), that movie would have been stellar.
  22. 10/10. One of the best action movies ever made. Holds up incredibly well.
