    People always say Death Mountain in Zelda 2 is really hard, but to me it’s a breeze. Other than that I’m not really gud at games.

    I’ve been seeing this for a while now. I go to a lot of concerts at small venues and I’m seeing more records, fewer CDs at the merch tables. I’m not really happy with that but what can I do. My sentiments exactly. I buy music but not intangible formats, same with games. And I like to keep my music all together. CD plays well to sit together with other formats (video, and the odd audio cassette here and there) but 12” records don’t.

    Does advertising offer a substantial amount? For a little site like this. Is it like pennies per thousands of impressions and slightly more for clickthroughs.

    Aldi is awesome for basics and staples. The stores are smaller so they don’t have everything, it’s true. Like free range eggs. Or a good deli. But we fill up a cart and the stuff we get there costs half what it does in a “normal” supermarket. Basic produce, baking ingredients, snacks, bread, cans and jars... it’s good. It used to be owned by the same company as Trader Joe’s, but the two brothers that owned it parted ways.

    I don’t see as we couldn’t do it anyway. Yes, it would take time to build, but if we want to be a destination like NA was, there is no reason not to work towards that. I envision capsule reviews, like what some newspaper websites have for movies. One or two paragraphs per game... maybe twice that for modern games. Certainly we could collectively cover at least a high percentage of 3rd-5th generation games in relatively short order.
