  1. I left work and switched to my tablet. Might be a cache thing. I can't see the old forum at all.
  2. I think they just killed the NintendoAge domain. It was working about a half hour ago.
  3. I imagine they're still on the NintendoAge site and the server is still going for a little bit so they haven't tried it out. But yeah, when they try the new digs it'll be a shock.
  4. I think that's a catchall for all discussions, but the archived stuff and one announcement is all that has been posted so far. No word on the database, etc.
  5. BTW, it's telling they have a section titled Video Games Investors Pit.
  6. The stuff on NintendoAge.com is still there. No idea how much longer, though. The new forum does work and our PMs are there on that one. edit: old threads archived here: https://connect.gocollect.com/categories/archived-nintendoage-posts
  7. This is why I really like the NES. The era starting around Sega Genesis/SNES is when games started getting a little more homogenized. Not that the games were bad, but a lot of the quirky, "What is this?" type of games started disappearing.
  8. We've only been active for what, a week? Need time for the Googlebots to sniff us out. Though some advertising elsewhere is a good idea.
  9. Bad weather? What's that? In those conditions, only an emergency.
  10. It's back up again, but it's been up and down all month.
  11. Does that make the Gyromite and Duck Hunt games that came with the Deluxe Set a double box?
  12. Mine is NES, as I love 8 bit graphics of that era. I've expanded into Famicom for the same reason.
  13. Spy Hunter (all verisons): It has an ending You get a motorcycle You get a helicopter and fight the other helicopters You get out of the car and do hand to hand combat, either one on one fighting or beat-em-up style
  14. By my job description I'm this guy. I like to think I have the semblance of a soul, though.
  15. I think those are classed as "no box" by most. The Action Set console and the Power Pad work with other games, so the game included is basically a bonus. You could make the case for Miracle Piano should be included as an oversized boxed game, since the piano is basically like the Arkanoid controller (just a lot bigger.) In both cases the accessory works only with the game included. But the piano does work independently of the game, so maybe not. Racermate is a tougher nut to crack. Also, did Super Spike V's/Nintendo World Cup have a separate box?
  16. We're not sure what is going to happen. GoCollect is going to revamp the other forum, but what that will entail, nobody knows. There's a lot of rumors going around and you probably got one of them.
  17. They are still available for purchase. Unknown if another run will be made once the current stock is exhausted.
  18. I have a few older games. Fallout, System Shock, stuff like that.
  19. Damn, congrats. Must be a relief, though your wallet is probably pissed off. Any insight on who owned it? Former Konami dude? Random collector?
  20. I know after Metal Slader Glory nearly bankrupted HAL, Nintendo stepped in to publish most of their stuff, but that was long after the Lolo series.
  21. I really wish I bought the Super Mario Bros 3 cart I found that had "FUCK YOU, ALEX" written across the label in sharpie.
  22. BTW, did they mess up on Adventures of Lolo? It sure looks like HAL Labs published it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adventures_of_Lolo
