Bootgod's NES database. Maybe GVN if GoCollect hasn't already gutted it.
That's been tried for other things. They are not very communicative, and they're not interested in providing much of anything to anyone when they do answer. It's probably a dry well.
I would not count on getting an answer anytime soon, if ever.
They can't even get a functional forum working. Nor do they seem eager to provide information on their future plans.
If you want a games database, I suggest you look elsewhere.
Yeah, Gold was first, then MTPO NES, then MTPO Famicom, each separated by about a month.
I don't know if the titles are different from the NES and Famicom MTPO. I think they're the same, a picture of Tyson and saying he's waiting for your challenge.
That one was weird, because I think we'd just talked about it on NA and like a short time later one pops up. I didn't say anything at the time, but in my mind that was awfully fortuitous.
If I'm to be totally honest, I really didn't mind it after the first few times.
Don't get me wrong, a battery save would have been better, but I've seen worse. Swords and Serpents for one.
I can understand why they released the Wii U. Nintendo needed a hi-def console to compete with Sony and Microsoft until the Switch was fully developed for release. Kind of makes for bad press if you don't have an HD offering in the decade span between the Wii and Switch.
I don't know for certain, either, but Ninja Kid, MUSCLE, and Chubby Cherub were Bandai's first three releases on the NES. I don't recall Ninja Kid being popular enough to warrant a reprint.
I had the Official Nintendo Player's Guide back in the day, and it had some great hints and information. Anyone have any other hint books and booklets that were great for cryptic parts to our favorite games?
He's also missing the Official Nintendo Player's Guide. That was invaluable for games from 1985-87.
I never really cared for the How to Win at Nintendo books. They seemed to have errors in some of the hints.
