  1. This is an amazing list and resource thank you! I've been using it for awhile now. @ThePhleo Is there a NES PAL rarity list out there somewhere? I'm mainly curious about the Rarity 9's in particular.
  2. It did say "art not final" but I was not expecting a different cartridge. Oh well! Game seems fun so far.
  3. For me it can be both, I want to play the game and I would like the blue or pink cartridge that was advertised, so it looks good on my shelf. It's more of expecting one thing and getting another. That original baby blue cartridge looked pretty slick and gave it that retro look! But yeah I wouldn't have bought the game if I knew this is what the cartridge looked like. I might sell mine for 1/2 off the initial price. The colors are just off and do not match the box or packaging. Def gonna play it and beat it first!
  4. I got the dark blue clear version. I preferred the original design and colors, but it will be fun to try and play.
  5. Congrats to the winner and all the participants. It was a fun contest. Gonna try to beat Rad Racer now
  6. I would say having a game collecting counts as interesting and feel free to mention it if it is your main hobby. For me, I was crowned pickle king in 3rd grade.
  7. I have one of the older RetroUSB (individually numbered) NWC repros without dipswitches. Is the default time for that cartridge 6 minutes 21 seconds? Any help would be appreciated! I might have to go the emulator route.

    Nothing!

Wow I remember when Sean was selling these on NA. I bought Mega Man 2, Zelda, and Castlevania. I used to DJ more and played these a few times at shows. I sold my Zelda for $100 a few years ago, if I sell the others I will let you know. Really cool records.
  9. I ended up buying a cartridge, cant wait to play it on my console.
  10. I've been playing on Nesticle on my PC with an 8ibitdo wireless controller. I haven't had many glitches that ended my game. The main glitches that I have seen are: -clipping through a pipe -reaching an area where you cannot progress forward (happened once or twice) -blind jumps right into an enemy -goomba stuck inside pipe -koopas stuck together -hard blocks on ceiling actually breakable
  11. 79 dist for me 108 is my new record for today, I'll try again later today or tomorrow! 191 today! This game is fun and addictive.
  12. There are many reasons why I used to hate Christmas and many other holidays. I was able to talk with professionals and its really up to YOU to decide what these days are like. If you want to go skiing on December 25th, you go skiing. If you want to be with loved ones and open presents, go ahead and do that. Find what makes YOU happen. I had to replace the feelings of old traditions with new ones. My GF and I decided to do a short trip each year, get an AirBnB and that was a great new tradition. I still am not super excited about Christmas but it is much less of a burden than in years past. Create your own tradition and have fun!
  13. If they remove the human element from grading, it might be interesting. It is way too arbitrary right now. I guarantee if you give a game to 3 of their 'expert graders,' you would get 3 different grades. I have an old 'PSA 10 gem mint' baseball card that is clearly not centered. Until there is full transparency, Wata isn't grading the game, it's just some random person with hopefully 'some' training. I would be really curious of the process for the games getting the top grades, does anyone at the top sign off on the item that gets a 9.8 A++?
  14. I'll buy the FDS game in the top right corner. Golf/tennis (2 games 1 disk) -$5 if you are willing to ship to California, USA? Send me a PM.
  15. I agree. Also, it lends itself to deceptive Ebay listings. I do not see the word 'Repro' or 'Rom Hack' anywhere in the text (or title) of the Ebay listing for this game. And it uses the phrase "This is a high quality way to own this version of Pokemon Crystal." The listing does say to make sure to look at the photos, but we know what they are trying to do here. Very deceptive.
  16. Today I would say Contra, but I could also say Mega Man 2 or MTPO.
  17. Also, think about starting your own business or side business with writing or marketing.
  18. I like to tell people that are looking for work or changing paths, find the companies that YOU want to work for. Reach out to them, try to set up an "informational interview" at the least, and learn more about them from someone who works there. Perhaps they are not hiring now, but they will remember you when they will. And they could potentially create a role for you. Take initiative. I work part-time for a non-profit and I volunteered three times with them before the job interview. Also if remote is the main selling point, you can search via Indeed for remote work.
  19. They update the code for the new machines all the time. I saw a stream with the new James Bond pinball (that Stern is releasing soon), and they said the code is not even close to being finished. But perhaps that doesn't count as DLC in the traditional sense.
