  1. Was this first NWC repro from Retrozone ? I have the blue one with no dip switches and I believe I've seen a green one as well. I've never been able to figure out which edition was first. Good luck with the sale.
  2. I love puzzle games. Baba is great, although it gets very tough! I like Jonathan Blow's work, I got pretty far in The Witness but got stuck. Worth revisiting. Return of the Obra Dinn - Amazing game, especially if you like being a detective. I agree about brute forcing some aspects. Tunic - it's on my list but I thought it was more of an action-adventure game Other puzzle games: Patricks Parabox (never played but heard was good) Stevens Sausage Roll (never played) Limbo/Inside (more like puzzle platformers but still good) Gorogoa (short game but pretty solid) Portal 1-2? (prob it's own genre but worth mentioning, great stuff)
  3. Hard to choose just 5 and I love all my records.
  4. Same. And I'm trimming all systems to focus on NES which is looking good!
  5. They REALLY needed to add more courses, but I did have fun while it lasted. One of my favorite games I played last year.
  6. Some stickers I will remove, some I will keep. It really depends on what type of sticker and where it is located. The few that stick out are my Top Loader with the local Game Xchange sticker on the bottom, and a Star Wars cartridge with another local game store on the side (one of those security stickers). For those folks wanting to remove stickers, a hair dryer on low setting works magic but be careful!
  7. Just curious if you will be updating this list?
  8. Interesting to see this on the Ebay listing: "Located in: Beijig, China"
  9. I collect what I like (NES), which happens to be what others are interested in. Perhaps I was a mild pioneer when I started, as collecting NES is way more popular now than it was when I started 10 years ago.
  10. If earlier the print run the better, shouldn’t sealed collectors be clamoring for the real first print i.e. the Japanese releases?
  11. I can't trust any grade from Wata, since they have proven to be deceptive.
  12. Cool to see these sell well and Zelda went for more than I thought. Nice!
  13. also NHL94 is one my favorite 2-player games of all time! Great stuff.
  14. If you have an iPhone... Go to> Settings>Phone>Silence Unknown Callers The only issue is to make sure to turn it off if you are expecting a call from someone not in your contacts like a mechanic, pizza guy etc., otherwise it goes straight to voicemail. And my understanding is to not answer the call, otherwise it shows you are a "live and legitimate" number and they will keep calling.
  15. #1: Mega Man 2 Honorable Mention: Chrono Trigger, Streets of Rage 2, Street Fighter 2
  16. Very interesting, I have #77/666. There's def some test pressings around as well. But your records are in great shape! Mine have had many many spins on the turntable. Sean was making cool records for awhile and is awesome to see almost the whole catalog here. Mega Man 2 is almost 10 years old now. Good stuff
  17. Was gonna tag you Great collection OP. I have #1 and #3 and I sold the Zelda one to a buddy. The Castlevania one is numbered out of 666 (you have it listed numbered out of 300). Good luck with the sale!
  18. Ok I just beat the Heart (w/ the Defect) so I thought I would add my rating which is 8/10. I started playing this game a few months ago. I really enjoy it and I appreciate tabletop card games much more now. If there was more enemy variety or just more variety in general I would rank it higher.
  19. If #16 is available I am interested! How much is shipping to California?
  20. I saw that CGC gave a 9.8 A+ to a scratched up Phantom Hourglass, so if you like leniency with sealed grading than CGC is a good choice.
  21. I definitely see your point. And I would imagine it depends on: a. How large a collection you have b. Where it is located in your place. c. How many guests come to your house d. How much you have spent on certain items and willingness to disclose that I have a small collection and a small amount of guests so it doesn't bother me too much, but I could see where it would become tiresome to talk about!
  22. This is a really interesting point and I'm curious how others feel. I would assume most of us are not ashamed, but we may not want to be judged or labeled by others due to our collections. Personally, I feel like this is who I am and I let it all hang out. I have Donkey Kong, Mario, Zelda and more stuff behind me in my Zoom background (I work from home and take lots of meetings). I play Dungeons & Dragons. I love having my game collection on display, and I love showing anyone my shelves (although they probably are not as excited about my DK Jr. Math as I am). Games are meant to be displayed (jk) I know some folks do not want to show off their collection to people due to safety concerns (lot of value there). And I believe @fcgamer that you play music, work, enjoy food...games are just a small part of who you are and not one thing defines you. I have plenty of other hobbies as well. Also, the people who come over to your place may have garages full of games and will just throw them away because they had no clue you would be interested in it. I tell everyone I know for that reason. But I do hear you. At this point in my life, IDGAF, this is me. And I celebrate other people's passion, if it makes you happy then have at it!
