  5. A few PS1 games, namely Tales of Destiny because it doubled in price the last time i saw it. Aside from that, no. I've generally been lucky enough to get what i want before it goes completely insane. As for getting burned, personally i'm having a bit of a panic about Super Nintendo. I wouldn't say i bought every game at full ebay value, but a few i did and now a few months after they've dipped significantly. In America anyways, i bet it's a different story in Moon World.
  6. Vestaria Saga, it's basically a new Fire Emblem from the original creator. Don't know how much i can/should say, but an English translation should be coming soon™, probably early 2020 though. Also almost beat Star Ocean First DepartureR, but the Final boss is a real pain, even with the best weapons.
  7. I guess selling my CIB copy of Magic Knight Rayearth. I got what i paid for it, but man, now it's hitting 500.
  8. Awfully verbose "u mad" there. Ironic considering LRG just went defcon 2 over a twitter joke. The point was them releasing tons of glorified filler is not impressive, nor is it a particularly helpful service to collectors, not that they need to stop being profitable. Desperate. What logic and reasoning. All you have done during this entire conversation was throw ad homenims around, attempt to have me answer claims i never made, and generally ignore any points i made.
  9. The burden of proof is on the one who makes the claim, and now that you mention it, how does this help collectors at all? Giving people more shit to collect regardless of quality isn't exactly helpful to anyone, especially since the vast majority of collectors would be automatically barred from a fullset anyways, since copies go as low as 1,500, and that assumes all copies of the game made it into collectors hands(they don't). The thrill of the hunt is simply not there, as all it takes to buy these things is just catching an email from them with the date and then just being obsessive enough to hit F5 on the store page until they become available for sale. A good chunk of their games aren't actually valuable, as many of them are sold on nothing but artificial hype. What about their Legend of the Bird King bullshit, which was supposedly not by LRG, but was made by an LRG employee, and supported by LRG themselves by allowing him to sell copies at their store. How does an artificial Stadium Events help collectors? How does bootlegs of cheap common games being passed as rare collectables help collectors? Who cares how many games they published, when a good majority of them are just cheapy indie games. You really going to tell me stuff like Kemco mobile RPGs or the 5 dollar eshop game they're trying to pass off as the modern day Stadium events is truly worth printing. Leaving a complaint about their business practices is not crying, and you aren't calling out shit.
  10. I thought the Spider Man 4 movie fell apart stupidly fast, how is there a game that far along in development? If anyone plays this game, is there actually any story to it, or is it just in pieces still?
  11. No, you can't move the goalposts now. You claimed a "small percentage" of copies end up on ebay, i asked you to back up said claim(which you failed to do) and showed evidence to the contrary. I never specified how many copies ended up on ebay specifically(nor would i because there's far more marketplaces out there besides ebay, and despite being one of the better sites out there at retaining info on sales, still isn't comprehensive enough to back up such a claim.). I never specified how much went to the scalpers because it's a matter of principle for me, as when we're dealing with fixed quantities this low it doesn't matter if we're talking 50% or 5%, it still makes it infinitely harder for a person to get even the crap they put out, let alone the good games. I mentioned games i wasn't interested in because whoever i was talking you, probably you, claimed that said games would never be released in physical form if it wasn't for LRG, not just to complain about them. You're not "calling" anyone out, you're just a blind fanboy that can't handle when people have a problem with bad business practices.
  12. Damn near every time. Course that doesn't help all the time, like the one time i bought a copy of Phantasy Star, and it turned out someone switched out the board with Miracle Warriors instead.
  13. Do you have a single fact to back any of that up. Even a quick glance at ebay alone suggests that these things are being sold at the same rate as games that are nowhere near as rare, if not much worse. For example, the game Freedom Planet, specifically the Deluxe edition for switch has 2,000 copies, has 40 copies up for sale on ebay right now, not including the 15 sold. Meanwhile, Indiebox Freedom Planet(PC) had a print run of 4,500, but only has about 4 copies listed, including one sold. How ironic that you would call me a child while using the childlike argument of "If you don't like [x], don't [y]". You might as well put your fingers in your ears and just try and drown out the bad words at that point. Wouldn't surprise me, a good majority of indie game creators are very militant left-wing types, especially when it comes to LGBT. Of course, it could just be people reading into something a little too hard, you never really know.
  14. Really more Hebe then Pedo, but same difference in Cali. One or two of the Spumco animators came out and said John K screwed them when they were underaged, there's a bunch of other allegations too, but IIRC, none of the others weren't confirmed by John K's Laywer. You're right about the used sales, but i mean, Look at Kevin Spacey, those allegations come out and BOOM, his next movie bombs incredibly hard and he's dropped from everything. Controversial marketing only works so well.
  15. First the government starts taxing internet sales, now this. This year fucking blows man.
  16. You hear that folks, without LRG, we would've NEVER had the N64 version of Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, or physical copies of Turok, Jak 1, 2, X Combat Racing, Nuclear Throne, Soldner X2, YS origin, etc et al,. They're providing a SERVICE to us, by re-releasing bootlegs and incredibly small amounts of games to scalpers.
  17. Gotdam, you'd think a game made in part by someone outed as a paedo wouldn't be this high in demand. I don't even remember what i let my sealed copy go for but it involved either a copy of Earthbound, or a sega saturn and a bunch of loose games. Only paid like 20 bucks for it, so even now it's a sure fire win for sure.
  18. 3.40 GHZ AMD A10-5700 4x4 16GB RAM 250GB SSD + 1 TB Hard Drives Geoforce GTX 750 Ti Graphics card. Now if only i had games i actually wanted to play on it. I've just been playing Killing Floor and Payday for the last couple of years.
  19. Don't even bother with the CD games unless you have hundreds of dollars to burn through. Only console i can think of where even Madden is worth serious cash.
  20. That forum has been in the middle of "shutting down" since. like, may. So either it's been paid for the next year, or he's just seeking attention.
  21. One time i sold a nintendo console to an old lady on ebay. She asked a whole lot of questions, didn't like one of the controller provided so i replace it, no big deal, yeah? Well, a month later, almost to the minute she sends me a message claiming a controller was busted, and that i needed to give her about 70, 80 bucks or buy a new PAIR of controllers for her I told her no, and that if there was a problem with the machine she should send it back for a full refund. She then proceeds to open a return, and freaks out at me when she realizes i'm not obligated to give her free money. telling me it was "the right thing to do" because one of the buttons on the controller supposedly didn't respond(they never produced any kind of evidence that it was broken). She then proceeds to somehow file a claim wit ebay, and GOT A FULL REFUND WITHOUT EVER HAVING TO RETURN THE CONSOLE. Now, to ebay's credit, they "found that i was not at fault" and didn't take the money out of my account, but man it still feels like i got screwed over Moral of the story, if the buyer starts asking a ton of questions, cancel the order right away.
  22. No, but i heard about it from people who did go there.
