    Picked up a used Splatoon on Wii U pretty cheap today. EB Games is at the point where they want Wii U games gone and are starting to mark even the first-party games down a chunk. With my platinum membership I paid about $22. There was an older price sticker under the new one that said something like $53. They also had some The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibos, so I picked up Mipha and Daruk.

    I picked up Katamari Damacy Reroll from the sale. It’s my first time playing a game from the series. Pretty addicting so far.

    The PS1 is one of the best consoles in my opinion. So many great games, many exclusive. There were stinkers too, but every console has them. The controller is really nice as well. My old PS1 has trouble reading discs sometimes nowadays, but I still love when I get it to work.

    Can’t 100% speak for all games, but from ones I have, all the Game Boy Player does is let you play GB/GBC/GBA games on a bigger screen and use the GameCube controller. I did find using the stick on the controller made Super Monkey Ball Jr. a bit easier.

    I’ve never been to Japan, but I’m inclined to say Sonic is more of a Japanese icon. Mostly because he was created there.

    My favorite games that are relatively quick are any Mario Kart or Mario Party.

    That’s why I like the Animal Crossing Amiibo cards. They take up way less space and are a lot cheaper. Not as much stuff to do with them as Amiibo figures, though.

    Got my grail item today. I missed out on Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness on the GameCube, and now a beautiful mint copy is mine.

    I’m currently playing Sonic Forces on the Switch. Pretty good!

    I’m relieved I don’t necessarily care about collecting sealed games. Most times I don’t even care if it’s CIB. I have many games I bought that are cartridge/disc only because they were cheaper. If the price was right, I wouldn’t mind buying a sealed game. I don’t want to pay up for something I can’t play.
