  1. This sign would just make me feel a little better if they actually mispriced something
  2. It's a gamepad accessory for the Wii that no one bought I think.
  3. 2 consoles?? Switch has Wii U, Playstation, PC, Gamecube, PS2, and Wii remakes, ports, and remasters. Just about the only console game I have yet to play on a Switch is a Switch game.
  4. 4. The top end is really good, as basically all Nintendo platforms are. NSMBU is oustanding, one of the very best Marios IMO, and Mario Maker was amazing too, making it the best 2D Mario console since SNES. And then the third party games... oh damn there aren't any. A Nintendo console with only 150 games across its 5 year lifespan, including all the Funky Barns, Turbo Stunt Squads, The Croods, and Ben 10 Omniverse 2s. Big yikes. The only thing more disappointing than Wii U is that we had to relive another 3 years of Wii U after the Switch came out when we got all the same games fed back to us again.
  5. I honestly didn't even try to save myself the disappointment. Either Nintendo finds a way to get these to me for normal prices or I can just skip them. At least it's a third party promotional thing and not like Mario and Luigi items.
  6. Games like SM3W are always hard to criticize since while it's not the overflowing inspiration wonderland of SMG, it's still a really polished and creative platformer. Kind of low on the Mario scale, but still better than almost anything else in the genre. What is SM3W even competing with these days? A Hat in Time and Yooka-Laylee and... ? Playstation remakes?
  7. They ignore autographs in terms of grading but don't authenticate them.
  8. I've bought from Japanese sellers last year who continued to list on Ebay.com, but wouldn't ship to the US due to Covid (EMS is shut down, but you can still use boat mail, Fedex, DHL). They just immediately refunded and relisted the item. No idea why it's on Ebay.com to begin with, but this could be something like that.
  9. It's a scam. Did you find this in a Facebook ad? Their SSL certificate is 5 days old (not that that's bad in itself, but this site was just set up) and half the links on the site are dead or have random Chinese text.
  10. Can't believe Chum let this walk out the door for only $90,000 These segments are weird. The guy clearly knows he isn't going to sell it. The shop clearly isn't going to buy it but has to feign interest. The guy asking $100k can't even confirm that Glass Joe (or "Glassy Joe") the first boxer of MTPO, something anyone who has played MTPO... once... would know. The prices are whatever at this point, but the lack of actual passion for games in this market man, it is like a vacuum that sucks out enthusiasm for games themselves.
  11. Gotta say the high end people making splashy headlines prices psychologically works. Used to be games essentially topped out in the high $100s except for the the really tip top stuff. Now sealed anything is worth $1000s, let alone the splashy $10,000s headlines. I was never interested in that stuff to begin with, but now when I look at a $600 copy of Tatsujin Oh on FM Towns Marty it's not like "This is one of the most expensive games it is possible to purchase", it's like "This looks like a DEAL compared to $80,000 on Pokemon Blue". Pretty sure the whole sealed market has been manipulated specifically to sell me games for $100s to trick me into thinking I'm getting a better value. I don't have Tatsujin Oh, but... man it's a better deal than Pokemans Blue.
  12. I love buying in person to really get an idea of condition and hunt for deals. There are virtually no stores by me and the few there are don’t have good enough inventory for a fancy pants collector, they’re closer to Gamestops that happen to go back a few generations. I put 100% online.
  13. Very sorry to hear Tabonga.

  15. Way better than a sealed copy of Gotcha to be sure.
  16. My goal was 100k and I couldn't even hit that. You blew away people on AtariAge in their weekly contest. Although to be fair they were probably playing on Atari joysticks like maniacs. Jeez, the delayed controls plus having the play with an Atari joystick, it doesn't even seem possible. Your score would've been the high score on Twin Galaxies at the time! (Todd Rogers scores are fake). Edit: Maybe not, they played on difficulty A/B. I still have faith you're the true world record holder. https://atariage.com/forums/topic/181766-high-score-club-910-tapper/
  17. Guys I don't think I'm going to hit 300k. 67275. 76275.
  18. A news article about a forum post on ResetEra, brilliant. Also "ResetEra"?? Excuse me, I only recognize a certain handful of forums that ripped off AtariAge's naming scheme and ResetEra will not be one of them.
  19. 5, in the middle for me. Most criticisms I have of it are of the era rather than PS3 itself. Game design started losing me with an abundance of movies and boring open worlds, consoles blended together with fewer exclusives, performance is never prioritized, etc. Don't like the dual shock. It will always feel like the analogs were tacked on as an afterthought rather than ergonomically placed. My favorites are the same as everyone else's and all 3D action games: Uncharted 2, MGS4, Demon's Souls, TLOU. If I have a less popular favorite... Sports Champions? Disc golf and bocce are so fun. Why don't we have more good disc golf and bocce games?? Also Playstation Home was a cool idea. I said it.
