I have it in Letterboxd as a 9 but I haven’t seen it in around 10 years. One of those movies that’s everything other adventure movies want to be. It’s probably a 10.

I went 8. It was in the center of Wii madness which was a fun time in video games, and it was free! I’d probably feel ripped off if I paid like I did for 1-2 Switch.

I just look for FS/WTS posts on Google and add a date range, you’ll often find some DigitPress or AtariAge post.

I played so much Daigasso on DS. It was one of the first games I imported myself after seeing some other guy playing it and asking about it.

If you don't know the price, they can't know it either. The market isn't established. Just give a reasonable guess. It's going to be what, something like $20-50k regardless, so still $400-1000, you can't exactly grade it cheap.

I think identical console plus more bad games makes the console worse (assuming they truly have no redeeming qualities and aren’t delightfully bad like Action 52). If anything it makes it harder to find the good games. Wii probably has plenty of good games I don’t know about in the bulk because all the budget stuff dilutes it so much. It could lead to people congregating around the “known good stuff” because digging through the library is too much effort. GBA for example, everyone’s knows Pokemon, Zelda, Castlevania, Metroid, but few people go back to Lilo & Stitch, apparently a fine Metal Slug-ish game, because it blends in with the background noise.

LRG should absolutely do this with some girly anime Vita game. It would be like one of those EULAs that gives a prize to the person who actually reads it.

The only people I've seen excited for it seem like Intellivision nostalgia addicts (I mean, obviously, look at the controller) who claim it will be perfect for playing with their families. Without the "Intellivision dad" who's going to buy it for their family, I have no idea who's going to buy this. Rare/failed console collectors? My wife and mother in law play literally 1000s of hours of mobile games, but they would have absolutely zero motivation to buy a $250 TV box that does the same thing and they can't play at the kitchen table, on the couch, in bed, etc.

6/10 generously because the top of the library is so stacked. The bulk of the library is one of the smallest and least interesting for major consoles. Genres like 2D shooters, RPGs, horror, 2D platformers, action/platform adventure, get barely a couple of games each compared to the wasteland of B-list racing games and sports. The controller ergonomics go back to the pre-NES era, the 3D is blurry, and framerates are garbage. My two favorite games ever are OOT and SM64, but after the Nintendo and Rare stuff, N64 is weak and looks ridiculous next to the cornucopia of genres and variety on Playstation.

I'm happy Splatoon fans get their thing, but man I always think of the quote "What do you want from F-Zero that we haven’t done before?" as the reason Nintendo won't give us more F-Zero games. Literally every Nintendo announcement today was a sequel, remake, or DLC. Famicom Detective Club is getting more support than F-Zero, I'm dyin' here . Just give us an HD fast as balls F-Zero game while you're capitalizing on all your existing IP pleaaaaase.

Ok this is the wrong thread because this is neither online nor a great deal but if anyone's interested they're probably here. The media store Almost Anything in Opelika Alabama has a pretty meh Stack Up Deluxe set. They quoted my buddy $900 yesterday and me $1000 today, which is too much IMO, but these are pretty rare to see at all so maybe someone here is trying to pursue one.
