  1. I don’t remember there being a print option in Pokémon Snap. Is the game a special version just for the print kiosk? How do you get to the print menu?
  2. Should have sent it to Wata to have a professional remove it
  3. Eh.. no thanks. I don’t collect pirated Switch games
  4. A successful system launch is extremely important. If the system doesn’t do well in the first 1-2 years, it’s basically dead. Any additional efforts poured into it are basically going into a money pit. Developers are not going to waste their resources developing or porting games to a system with small userbase. And people won’t want to buy the system due to lack of software. Wii U had a poor launch and Nintendo knew it early on. They couldn’t move on to the Switch right away because they wanted to make sure they did everything right with the Switch
  5. I’m usually pretty good at Mario games. There was one star in Mario Odyssey that made me put the game down and since then I never picked the game back up again. I tried it so many times and got me so frustrated I noticed I was gasping
  6. It seems that the 25x multiplier on Tetris scores makes the Tetris score the biggest impact. So focusing on maximizing the Tetris score would be the best strategy
  7. My guess is that either the system wasn’t powerful enough to optimize GBA games to the level of quality Nintendo would want for the masses (they only made SNES games available to people with the more powerful *NEW* 3DS). Or they kept GBA exclusive to appease the ambassadors and make them feel special so they would maybe feel less upset about paying more.
  8. Zelda story is subtle but it is actually deep if you take the time to study it
  9. I used to really enjoy playing a DOS game called ABUSE. It was basically a dark 2D platformer with aliens. You had to play with mouse and keyboard because it had 360 degree aiming. I think I found out about this game as a PC Gamer demo. Always been surprised this game was never ported to any other systems.
  10. Me. I didnt get into Prime (I should probably work on that!) It was the first new Metroid that was not Prime so I was happy. The horizontal wiimote and d pad controls felt like a callback to NES Metroid. I probably gave the game more credit than it deserved since I really like Metroid. I did think Adam was super annoying. I wish there was a no-Adam mode
  11. I made an edit in the original post stating that Nintendo came through.
  12. I used to operate a rental car. It was a newer car but people would always smoke in it. I always found that wiping surfaces, changing air filters, shampooing carpets and febreze was not enough to remove the odor. The thing that ultimately killed the odor was a little machine called an ozone generator. I would run the machine in the car and close all the windows except one would be cracked open so the extension cord could run through. I would basically run this machine all day long and periodically recirculate the a/c to get the ozone through the a/c ducts. The ozone generator kills the smoke odor. Be careful with it indoors though, it can also kill people
  13. Also, 32GB sd cards are today only like $10-15 even for top brand names. Might be a good idea to just copy a backup of your sd card just in case something goes wrong
  14. Only if they’d agree to payment as a fixed percentage of the court ordered compensation. I wonder if the lawyer would be willing to accept compensation paid out in myNintendo platinum points
  15. As a consumer, if the website allows me to pay for something, I assume they will deliver it
  16. **************************************** **********EDIT: ok Nintendo came through and extended the deadline to redeem codes so now I got my theme.. Domo Arigato Gozaimas Nintendo-san I love you again ***************************************** Original (Obsolete) message below: I spent 200 myNintendo platinum points to get the Samus 3DS wallpaper. When I went to redeem the code in the eshop, it says download codes can’t be redeemed. On the page with my download code it says it can be redeemed until March 28, 2023 2am. Just below that it says codes can’t be redeemed anymore beginning in March. I called Nintendo support today and spoke with a lady who put me on hold to talk with her knowledge team. She came off hold and said she won’t be able to have a solution for this since it’s a new error code and the shop closes tomorrow. And also platinum points are non-refundable. I told her that this is not fair. Why would they allow me to spend the platinum points on a downloadable product that I am not able to redeem? I guess Nintendo just politely said screw you. Well Nintendo, you are not off the hook. This rant will remain on the internet until I get my points back
  17. I really loved like 90% of Treasures games. In my opinion everything they put out is gold. But just because I like something doesn’t mean it’s good. When I want to say something is good “objectively” (if that’s even possible) I always look at whether it had mass appeal. Mass appeal means large numbers of people liked it. The best way to determine whether something in video games had mass appeal is to look at the sales numbers. Looking at the numbers, Treasure games are a niche. That’s why Treasure is no more. They are not viable as a business. We love them because we are video game connoisseurs.
  18. You forgot Sin and Pumishment, Silhouette Mirage, Gradius V All really good games. But something about them just feels like all they can do is short but sweets. And while we think these games are great, they didn’t have mass appeal
  19. I’m getting an SSL error when I try to go to videogamesage.com from my 3DS browser @Gloves
  20. Wario World probably was a B-C game if that’s a thing. That’s doesn’t mean it’s bad, it’s just not as good as something like Mario Sunshine. It’s pretty clear there’s a graphics disparity between the two. And as you mentioned, length of the game
