I don’t know.. but I would assume you could delete all game data associated with a game. Then when you play it again, it would be as if it were the first time you ever played it

I beat the game like last week. Only did like less than 20 shrines. I used the duplication glitch to make lots of hearty large truffles and when you cook 5 together you get full life plus 20 yellow hearts. Also duplicated a bunch of diamonds to sell and bought all the arrows in town whenever I went to town. I duped large zonai charges so I could max out the gumball machines and large zonaite so I could buy large crystallized zonai charges. I know I’m a cheater. But at least I’m honest. Even cheating, this game was pretty hard and Ganondorf was especially hard

Oh yea one interesting thing there is ebay. Lots of people use eBay with domestic delivery only

I don’t remember ever seeing much legit console stuff in the Philippines. Mostly Chinese bootleg Famiclone, GB/GBA and PS1/PS2 stuff. Wonderswan was the only legit thing I ever remember seeing at retail years ago. it’s a very poor country, so like 95% of the population can’t afford legit games

There is so much that went into this game and it really shows. In my opinion it’s worth like $200. Honestly after playing this, there’s really no point in ever going back to play Breath of the Wild.

I welcome DS, 3DS and Switch counterfeits. Since these games have flash memory, they will fail eventually. I have a good few DS and 3DS games that look fine on the outside but they don’t work. Now I’ve seen people repair some DS/3DS carts by cutting them open and reflowing the solder on the chip. So can’t speak to whether they need to be resoldered or if they are truly dead. But even a resoldering repair means you have to cut the plastic cart shell in half and glue it back together. If newer gen cartridge games on flash chips are truly dying from bit rot, then that kinda takes all the fun out of collecting them. And I can’t defend the rules of the hobby for a console generation that has such a serious problem

I was super happy when Konami did the Castlevania, Contra, and Gradius Rebirth games on Wii. That was a final little hurrah before they died. It kind of amazed me that they were even able to pull it off, I’d have thought by that time, the types of developers needed to make those games had already all fled the company. Today Inti Creates and WayForward and the spiritual successors to Capcom and Konami
