It's just, when it's sitting right next to the first in arguably the greatest trilogy of all time... haha.

Guessing that was a scene that got changed to Vader choking the guy with the force? Yeah has to, look at the(c) date, it's the original really early pre-trailer I guess as it's dated 1976 for a 1977 a late spring/early summer release. I never seen it before, it blew me away the subtle changes from what the 1977 trailer when it ran/or near ran along with the final cut too so I linked it instead.

nrslam | 477
There are several classics from 1957: Bridge on the River Kwai 12 Angry Men Designing Women Funny Face Gunfight at the OK Corral Old Yeller Slaughter on Tenth Avenue The Three Faces of Eve Witness for the Prosecution but I'm going to have to go with the Academy here: Bridge on the River Kwai is a truly great film, and I've got that dang song stuck in my head. "Comet! It makes your teeth turn green..." More importantly, we had enough SciFi schlock to fill several seasons of MST3K. Check out these titles: 20 Million Miles to Earth Attack of the Crab Monsters The Brain from Planet Arous The Daughter of Dr Jekyll From Hell it Came The Giant Claw I Was a Teenage Frankenstein I Was a Teenage Werewolf The Incredible Shrinking Man Invasion of the Saucer Men The Invisible Boy Love Slaves of the Amazons Monster from Green Hell The Monster that Challenged the World The Night the World Exploded Reform School Girl Voodoo Women Zombies of Mora Tau

An Alec Guiness classic, and possibly my favorite of his... after Star Wars, of course. 41 minutes ago, nrslam said: I Was a Teenage Werewolf Ah, is that the one with a teenage Micheal Landon? My wife and I still reference that MST3K from time to time with the "He Beefed!" bit.

It might be a top 5 for me. There's no particular reason. It's just a really good episode. Plus, Micheal Landon is awesome and was always such a clean-cut guy. It's novel to see him playing a bad boy.
DefaultGen | 5,436
I went through 1989 releases and it did not strike me as a great year for movies. My person favorites are probably Friday the 13th: Jason Takes Manhattan, Star Trek V, Batman, and UHF.

Sumez | 2,995
There's a lot more than two great movies from 1989 though. Which already puts it ahead of most other movie years, honestly.
