  1. Is it really though? The NADB was really lackluster for anything beyond the 768 US NES games, and even there, the “Developers” on virtually every other title was wrong or randomized or something. I feel the site was purchased just literally for the reputation and namesake alone and GoCollect just dragged their feet a little too long.
  2. Coffee w/ Cream & Sugar Tea w/ Milk & Honey Seltzer w/ Citrus or Berries Ice Water Those are my go to drinks while gaming. Energy drinks are disgusting and should only be enjoyed in Vodka...and the only drink of choice should be Red Bull...maybe hold the Red Bull and just drink the vodka though.
  3. Honestly? Sealed SNES, and Rare Sealed NES are due for a bump (Think Samson, Dino Peak, Bonks, etc) I think SNES fan favorites are undervalued and some of the greatest 2D games of all time are on the system. The only reason I’m my opinion why it’s not popular already is because besides the Japanese vs Mexican print stuff, There just aren’t many “cool & easy to spot variants” to attract first print hunters.
  4. The prophecies were correct then. Ganon has awoken from his slumber and graced you with a purple halo despite your wishes of other color.
  5. Rarity guide based on that would cause lopsided results. For example, on NES The Last Star Fighter, Nigel Mansells Racing, or Motor City Patrol are some of the rarer games on the system, but not as many collectors will actively go after such items compared to games with similar rarities but much higher (current) collectors value like SCAT, Godzilla 2, Pro Sport Hockey, Hillsfar, etc. Things change though. I remember a time that Kid Klown for instance was a mid range collector title and now it’s in the Top 25. But I say hard no, unless you call it something else. ”Community Population” is a good title. Similarly, I would use eBay listing counts to judge “Online Availability” instead of rarity.
  6. Sold everything I owned that had no sentimental value to me and just kept my grandfathers mandolin. So just one mandolins now!
  7. Gotta get that Famicom some love! I want to break down the 60-pin/72-pin wall. Rare paper is a must.
  8. Numismatics, Bullion, and once I go and get my FFL, Guns.
  9. Whoa! Nate! what happened to Now we just need Winroba, ThatNintendoGuy, and Pete Diak to fully restore the 2011 NA chat crew.
  10. I foresee a long, but steady decline in interest in retro gaming in general over the next few years, with rises in prices only in the upper echelon of rarities and mint condition to sealed fan favorites. Niche consoles and handhelds like TG-16/CD and Neo Geo AES/CD/Pocket/Color will be looked at in the future how ColecoVision, Intellivision, Odyssey 2 and Microvision are looked at today...where NES/SNES/Master System/Genesis is the analog to 2600.
  11. If there are infinite likes then how will I feel special when someone likes me
  12. Communities aren’t for sale. Returning to NA when better alternatives exist will just prove me wrong and show that money can in fact buy a community.
  13. I’d value it at a similar price to the Gluk clones. Very niche, but desirable to that niche. about $150 is the lower limit and $300 is the upper limit. Whats interesting to me is it isn’t a Q-Boy.
  14. Depends on how hard it is to find said item in *any* condition. Id rather have a beat to hell Stadium Events box than none.
  15. I plan to use this thread to link to other users lists, not just my own. Go ahead and make your list and I’ll add it to here as soon as I could.
