  1. Im not a huge AEW hater. Theres a lot of stuff I really dont like and I really wish they'd cut the shit and start writing TV for the average person, not the smark. But some of their fans are crazy. They defended this for Rey being safe in a concussion sensitive environment, but say Matt Hardys fall was just an accident. Safe working punches wont concuss someone, just pull back a LOT on the big spots. https://www.ringsidenews.com/2020/08/12/fans-call-out-big-botch-on-aew-dark-this-week/
  2. That certainly could be true as well. Big spots are cheap ways to get over, but then you're burning the candle at both ends cuz you have to keep doing more to stay over. Im not against big spots but it depends when they're used, like in the main event, or something important. Its lazy wrestling IMO.
  3. Which is amusing because they are the heavy metal equivalent of Nickleback.
  4. I have to agree with this. They might have "NA" as a name, but the people here are NA.
  5. Is there ANY handheld system thats region locked? I dont think even the Switch is.
  6. Well considering there wasn't any padding around the table or under it, just right to the concrete, id say it was pretty extreme. Just unnecessary
  7. Spots like Matt Hardys accident is mostly our fault as fans. We've become so desensitized to big spots for almost 20 years now that they have to do more and more, and more extreme. Just to prevent us from getting 'bored' and looking at our phones, instead of being invested in the storyline and psychology of the match.
  8. I'll probably pick this up. I thought it was really cool.
  9. It certainly helps. Id have to go thru it but 2 out of the 3 I checked had dates earlier than its normal production. TMNT 1 is the only one that seems strange that its about a year after its real release. Silent Service I checked and is also earlier than the US release but a week or so.
  10. I had to use it to get something my parents needed. Nice problem to be in that I couldn't even use it for something I wanted.
  11. Well I dont count those Konami 5 screws as 'official'. But it would be nice to have them on file and reference them to the date codes when they were first printed. Freaking bootgod is down but we can use the wayback machine. https://web.archive.org/web/20200127112840/http://bootgod.dyndns.org:7777/ For example TMNT II has its earliest date code as 9108, way earlier than what you have. BUT those date codes are printed similar to the famicom release (9044). Again leading me to believe this are 'internal' copies that somehow got out. Does the code on the PRG say NES or HVC? I'll also note your TMNT 1 has a date code of mid 90 which is about a year after the game was official released in the US AND Japan.
  12. Always the PRG. Sometimes there is a difference within a week of PRG/CHR (like F2).
  13. Just looking quickly at the list, I should note that these dates arent the be all end all. My 5 screw MM1 is I think 8752
  14. I love wrestling because you can learn so much. They're playing the comic book marks to our detriment that people will actually care about these games 20 years from now. Theres at least one game on that list thats severely undervalued because it isn't collecting data properly, but why should I help them correct it?
  15. This is what I had. It should be formatted evenly, but if you put it in a txt file it should line up. No reason to hoard this info anymore. 5Sc 3Sc rarer Oct 18, 85 10-Yard Fight Yes Yes 2 3 Screw Baseball Yes Yes 2 3 Screw Clu Clu Land Yes No NA NA Duck Hunt Yes Yes 1 3 Screw Excitebike Yes Yes 2 3 Screw Golf Yes Yes 1 3 Screw Gyromite Yes Yes 9 3 Screw 8705 (5 screw, 8726 3 screw) Hogan's Alley Yes Yes 4 3 Screw Ice Climber Yes Yes 6 3 Screw (8739 3 screw) Kung Fu Yes Yes 1 3 Screw Pinball Yes Yes 2 3 Screw Stack-Up Yes No NA NA Super Mario Bro Yes Yes 2 5 Screw Tennis Yes Yes 7 3 Screw (8807 3 screw) Wild Gunman Yes Yes 6 3 Screw (8923 3 screw) Wrecking Crew Yes Yes 6 3 Screw June 86 Donkey Kong Yes Yes 8 3 screw 8622 (late 87 3 screw) Donkey Kong Jr. Yes Yes 9 3 Screw 8625 (late 87 3 screw) Donkey Kong 3 Yes Yes 6 3 Screw 8714 (8747 3 screw) Mario Bros Yes Yes 7 3 Screw 8649 (8948) Popeye Yes Yes 3 3 Screw Aug 86 Balloon Fight Yes Yes 7 3 Screw 8651 (5 screw, 8924 3 screw) Gumshoe Yes No NA NA Mach Rider Yes Yes 3 3 Screw Urban Champion Yes Yes 8 3 Screw 8720 (8947 3 screw) Oct 86 Tag Team Wrest Yes Yes 2 3 Screw Chubby Cherub Yes No NA NA M.U.S.C.L.E. 16. Nice! And thank you because you inspired me to pick up a Gameboy game I completely forgot about. Hopefully I can use that HAPPY25 code now
  17. I got the message. My first purchase was a Corvette Model in 2001, even though I joined in 2000. Im really having trouble thinking of what to buy since I got everything I really wanted. Trying to think outside the box, like xbox one, or switch, or even weird DVDs
  18. Hot dang thats a good deal. I gotta figure out something I want!
  19. Get the date codes. I think all the 5 screw Goonies II have the same chip date codes.
  20. Yeah that what I mean. Theres no way to verify a 'date' for shells, or what numbers they should be or anything.
  21. I really dont think they do. Im pretty sure no one truly knows what those back-label markings are really for. Either way they aren't date codes, thats for sure.
  22. I REALLY wanted a MM6 until I realized it was by Playtronic. I dont think it should be a variant, only because it isn't a true US release. Its still hella cool.
