  1. Hi Guys, I think I almost have a complete list with all the GB games released in the EU (PAL). I have 2 games I can't confirm: Lock'n' Chase Tumble Pop Does anyone here have a physical copy of 1 of the above games as a PAL/EU release? All EU released games: 4-in-1 Fun Pak 4-in-1 Funpak: Volume II Adventure Island Adventure Island II Adventures of Lolo Aerostar Aladdin Alfred Chicken Alien Olympics 2044
  2. All of the main regions had GBA games with revisions, I haven't had the chance to catalogue the PAL [EUR-1, FRA-1, etc.] or NTSC-J [JPN-1] games (and probably will never get around to a full list), but I have what I believe is a (or very close to) complete NTSC USA-1 revision list. These were most often done when publishers changed but also to fix glitches or other minor changes. The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius - Jet Fusion (?) Animal Snap (AIA --> Ignition) ATV: Quad Power Racing (?) Demon Diver (AIA --> Ignition) Dexter's Laboratory: Deesaster Strikes (fixed un
  3. Working list of Game Boy gray (DMG) carts that have a know ROM Variant. A ROM variant is identified by the Number beside the catalog code on the ROM Chip. I don't intend to look at the rom data to compare rom version as this is done at The Cutting Room Floor's site (tcrf.net). I have not found a list that documents all ROM versions so I will start with what I have in my collection.
  4. Just running through a few games and stumbled on a theory and was looking to see if it hold water. For years we have been tracking variants on Nintendo Games (for me it's GB). One thing I have always wondered why manuals are not following the revision ie label identity. Could it be as some suspect "easier/less expensive to update and print the a CIB" (as @RH suspects) or is it quite possibly a non documented revision (i.e. no version bump on label) here is the data.. GB: Legend of Zelda, The: Links Awakening has 4 cart versions and 5 manuals the label are as follow DMG-Z
  5. Today was looking for a Game Boy North America Time line. Was unable to find a usable one so i started to go over what i could find here is what i have composed. let me know if this is not correct or you have more data to support the time line. 6. Well after years of pursuing, hounding eBay, hounding people, hounding just the internet in general, and also a well deserved shoutout to @dyer for helping me get the last one on my list. I have finally completed the CHN GB set as a loose cart set. Sure, I need some upgrades but for now... this will do. Enjoy! It was a mofo to complete.... Itemized list for anyone looking to do this set. It was brutal. I started just about a decade ago and just finished myself. Threw in a copy of the HKG region Tetris for kicks.... DMG # CHN - Title 101 - Super Mario
  7. Got this update from Bitmap Books in their email news letter: I have their NES / Famicom Visual Compendium Book, it is very nice. https://www.bitmapbooks.co.uk/
  8. Sometime ago I saw on NA a list of all Game Boy Tetris Variants. I have not been able to find it here so I'm remaking here. have no clue, who the OG Author was. 9. Hi! After many time posting on Nintendo Age Forum, this is my first post here. This time I'm selling a GameBoy Test Cartridge. It just have a little scratch on top of the cartridge (see the pics below). I'm asking $1100 for this piece of Nintendo but I'm open to hear any offer. 11. Was curious if anyone has any info regarding Simon & Toys Company Limited? I assume they distributed a number of games. I am terrible at internet searching and am coming up Blank. Also does anyone have a boxed version of this? Would love to see a copy. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide me with.
  12. Hi All, The time has come, I am selling my personal collection of games. Right now I need the money way more than the games... I'm selling each system's games as a lot, because I want them all gone and I do not want to split everything up. I tend to collect based on overall appearance of label and cartridge and most games have been cleaned up, stickers removed, and marks buffed clean by myself. I've included links to the posts on ebay (didn't see an issue with this in the rules I read). Much more pictures on eBay and I can include more upon request. Starting bid on
  13. I remember playing my gameboy almost every day when i was younger (back in the early 2000's). One game that I remember really enjoying was a racing game (I'm fairly certain it was a futuristic one, like wipeout) where, when you crashed your vehicle, sad, violin music would begin to play, and you'd be forced to restart. If anyone knows what game I'm refering to, please let me know what it's called. I've done the best I can to find it myself, but, as you might've guessed, have failed. All help is appreciated; thanks in advance.

    GBA Wishlist

Hello VGS! I am mainly a GBA collector and recently have been focusing on completing my wishlist for the system. There's pretty much no rhyme or reason to the wishlist other than some rares, expensive games, and personal curiosities. I mainly only go for loose carts but always potentially interested in CIB depending on the game. Always open to trades if you'd prefer that as well. Oddities, variants, store displays, kiosks, GBA-related Nintendo Powers, manuals, and various other GBA-related merchandise are also always very interesting to me and would always be considered for purchase. WTTF: Some GB Games

Done Here are some of the carts I own but would like to upgrade, or variants I'd like to acquire. This is a low priority, but I am interested in these too. Please note that the I am specifically looking for the variant in (parenthesis) for multi-variant games. Also looking more to trade for these, at the moment. Adventure Island II: Aliens in Paradise (Electro-Brain Label) - (DMG-GQ-USA-1) Battle Arena Toshinden (Copyright Details) - (DMG-ATDE-USA-1) Bill & Ted's Excellent Game Boy Adventure (NO ERROR LJN LOGO) - (DMG-LB-USA) This one is very rare. 18. Hi, So yesterday I noticed this listing on ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shantae-Game-Boy-Color-GBC-With-Box-And-Manual-8Bit-Games-NEW/133267804724?hash=item1f07615234:g:v8gAAOSw9shd73YY At first glance it looked like the normal chinese bootleg, with nice box and manual with some wrong coloring and contrast (the usual) but then you notice the cartridge itself... and it's not a normal cheap-o pcb as usual. Then I asked a few people on gameboy groups about it and they were aware of this type of bootleg. One person in one of those groups was kind enough to send me a picture of the pcb,

  20. I made an Ace Attorney demake for the Game Boy with GBStudio :) It stars the members of the Warp World Community - streamers and podcast hosts I work with. It takes about 20 minutes to play and is free to enjoy (works well in a mobile browser). There’s also a Kickstarter to fund the creation of carts. Hope you like it! http://game.warp.world
  21. Good Day VGS, I am in the hunt for a Lock N' Chase cart for my GB collection. cart condition for the right one is fine - mint. if you have one please send me your offer and a pic. i will respond to offers.
  22. Hey y'all. I recently purchased a complete copy of Pokemon Crystal. I'm 99% sure it's authentic, but I found the foil on the box to be strange. My Gold, Silver, and Emerald boxes have foil on all sides but my Crystal box only has foil on three. I've also noticed that there seem to be two boxes for this game, one with white cardboard and one with gray, but both seem to only have foil on three sides. It just struck me as strange. Is this just how they were made for the NTSC market? Was this done as a cost-saving measure? Pics for reference: Top and front have foil: The spine
  23. Hey all, just wanted to share and get some opinions on this Judge Dredd box I picked up a while back. The artwork is different (more zoomed in), and the logos have different placement, as well as the ESRB rating being different (rated T like the other console releases, whereas the retail release of Judge Dredd was rated KA). The back of the box is mostly blank, plain white box instead of a UPC, and the flap code is DMG XX USA. I'm pretty sure I know what it's from, for lack of a better way to put it, but I'd love to hear some opinions on it. (Hope this imgur works)
  24. I haven't met many Gameboy Console collectors on the forums over the years. Most I've met were through instagram and facebook groups. Hoping to find some like-minded collectors here on Sage Here's some of my less common Japanese Gameboy Pockets! Who else collects consoles out there? Let's see some sweet GBs!
