  1. I think what jone said was right. At my job I use it to see whats cheap and whats not. Anything thats substantial like over $40 I'll go to ebay and check. GVN is usually on the 'lighter' side for some of the titles.
  2. I still think theres more out there than people looking for them. Once those set collectors are done buying, people will still be selling them and eventually they'll go down. The only think I can think of are people who were on the fence about buying them original will still buy them kinda 'high' because they can remember a time when they were more expensive. I have a friend who wanted a Samson and still doesn't have it. I told him to wait cuz the price will come down. If lets say it goes to 750, he might buy it, because he can still remember when it was worth 1200 and that is a killer deal. To me thats the only way those games can really have some 'higher' value. I know they'll go down but i'd be interested to see at what price they stay out when they've cooled completely.
  3. Theres like 10 known copies of that game right? Im over exaggerating but its stupidly rare for the most popular series for the Neo Geo. I think thats probably fair. For me, I gotta think but nothing really comes to mind. I got everything I want except for two rare variants that im hoping to get cheap. One of them I have no idea what the 'true' price would be.
  4. Sorry, I meant if the post could only be visible by registered members. Was writing this out too quickly while at work haha. As for the reference guide, thats totally what I meant. The chip dates and stuff is not important as much as the product code being stamped on the PRG and CHR chips. Something a bit general as to let people know that there could be variances from what they see in bootgod to their copy. For example having a different CIC chip date, or PCB board variant.
  5. You mean the forum isnt called Video Games Age?!?!
  6. he belongs in the promo hall of fame for everything he's said after 99. I saw him at wrestlecon and wanted to get his math promo shirt from him but they didn't have it in black. He actually didn't look as big as I remembered and I said to myself 'Shit I think I could kick this dudes ass' haha. For the record I would never because he's a beast.
  7. This is one thing I complained about a lot because I found it pretty annoying. Its so easy (for the most part) to spot a fake for NES, SNES or just cart based systems in general. Boxes/manuals/Prototypes is something else (unless you have a DEV PCB Board). Can we get a sticky that goes about how to check if your game in genuine with chip codes/dates, etc? Also can we make that post be seen by members?
  8. Sid also had a shoot interview where he said he saw them building the wall and told them about the beam and they didn't listen. Which is why when the Shockmaster falls its SID that says "I told ya... Oh god". I should also note this was shown on LIVE TV! I still want to know who says "Shockmaster, ALRIGHT!". Sid was fired a couple of months later for nearly stabbing Arn Anderson to death.
  9. I love that it was such a disaster that they IMMEDIATELY changed his character into a bumbling buffoon. Its really hard to find but if you can find his 'newer' entrance music, its basically popular guitar songs playing badly and out of tune. Day Tripper Johnny B. Badd and I think Smoke on the Water. All from the brilliant mind of Dusty Rhodes! Dusty gave him this gimmick to help him out since Uncle Fred is Dustys brother in law.
  10. Its also so funny everyone just picked up and left lol. I think in a month ill check in just to see how NA is holding up haha.
  11. Its a forum BY the people, FOR the people.
  12. Recca is absolutely the impost impressive non-MMC5 title by FAR.
