  1. I missed out on a few cibs years ago that I over bid on from the excitement of it all. Lucky for me someone came in and bid me up at the past minute. Ended up finding them cheaper as bins later. It was zero the kamikaze squirrel and twisted tales of spike mc fang.
  2. Just a picture of a junk SNES tape being set on fire. Toss the junk and keep the good stuff.
  3. Ebay completed listings is probably the best go to now.
  4. Are those blue Billy bookcases?
  5. I had 2010 to 2017 then I sold 2011 to 2017 since I never used them.
  6. Someone was trying to bump up the cost of pieces on the SNES years ago, hey kept buying em all off Ebay
  7. No regrets at all. I made a bunch of money cleaning house and now I'm only left with the good stuff. I never even touched the junk titles, so it was like they weren't even really there to begin with in a sense? If you're worried about it you could always pick up an everdrive as a backup. They're just as good as having the real deal in your hands. A good test would be to pull a bunch of titles off your shelf and stick them in a box for a few weeks. I'd you dont miss them from doing that then odds are you won't miss them at all.
  8. https://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=30&products_id=164 it's for sale now
  9. I started out with the intention of full SNES cib and whatever else came my way. I got close but just got bored with it all. I did a big sell off recently, so now I only own stuff I'll play. Much happier with a smaller stash of tapes.
  10. Let's just celebrate festivus instead.
  11. #75 that's the number I'd always pick for homebrew releases.
  12. My toilet is better looking in the morning than that website. As for the data loss, we could always remake the database. We all still have collections and scanners etc. Besides a lot of the rarity info wasn't entirely accurate a anyways.
  13. Super Nintendo. It was the first console I owned myself. Tg16 was the first console I had, but I was only borrowing that from a friend for 6months since they never used it. I have tapes for: Nes, SNES, n64, tapecube, Wii, wiiu, switch, genesis, tg16, tapeboy colour, tapeboy advance, ds, 3ds, ps1, ps2. For the most part we only own tapes my wife or myself would play. So I guess wer'e casual gamers and not collectors anymore?
  14. Micro transactions and cell phone games. Fits perfectly into people's low attention span busy lives. I play animal crossing on my phone all the time. It's a quick easy win when you want to play a game but have a bunch of stuff to do
  15. 34 but I dont feel like it until Friday rolls around.
  16. Nah, I think grading cib or loose tapes is dumb. I'm not even a fan of grading sealed stuff in general either. What makes one persons opinion of condition better than someone else's?
  17. I've been regularly eating the candy and it doesn't seem to be in there so far.
  18. Nope, I just put a fresh jug in there and it's not there.
  19. Calling the nes more nostalgic isnt entirely a fair assessment, I feel like the nostalgia factor between them really depends on which you identified more with growing up. Got myself I never owned an nes until 2009. But I picked up the SNES in 1996. With that context I would say SNES is more nostalgic to me.
  20. My wife picked up the new zelda tape on the switch the other day if that counts. She used to play it all the time on tapeboy. It looks great. I've never played that one myself though.
