  2. I haven't seen one of these come up for sale ever really. I picked this up way back when timewalk games was a thing. All I really know is that it's a rom hack and they only made 20 of these big box editions when they did the run. I'm the only owner and played it like once when I first got it. Any idea what something like this would be worth now?
  3. Probably whatever the most expensive tape in the desired set for most people. So like stadium tapes or mbrsr etc. Although I know someone who did the n64 set and their last tape was some dinky cheap thing. Back when I was going for a full anes cib I already owned all the expensive stuff except for 3 ninjas and mbrsr, and I needed a bunch of mid tier junk not worth playing. It's just not very motivating to continue if all that is left to get is a pile of crap. Cut the set down to tapes. Probably cutting it down more this year.
  4. With the markets down nows the time to buy stock in tp companies. Liquidate your Nintendo tape assets and buy tp shares
  5. You're probably better off selling it when you're done. Any video game museum is probably a short lived venture and will just end up on the auction block anyways and you won't get a y money from it. If it bothers you maybe filter who you sell it to instead of just the highest bidder?
  6. Final fantasy 3 on the SNES. I've owned it since 2002 and haven't really played it
  7. Earthbound. I find the battle system super boring. It's the SNES, they could have easily done better.
  8. He once sent me some big Turks. If that doesn't paint the whole picture then I dont know what more to say.
  9. I always try them. Then they sit on a shelf for ages and get sold at some point
  10. Wait 2 years to buy a console. Problem solved. Plus you'll have a pile of used tapes you can buy at that time and the console would have a price drop by then aswell.
  11. In sure its fine, but given how easy it is to hop on a plane and go somewhere these days it'll be all over the place before you know it. If you're not already in poor health I wouldn't really be worried.
  12. I opened most of them that I have. I have a few still sealed . Overall I think I have like maybe 20 total? I prefer them open they display better.
  13. That's quite the tape dungeon. Lots of time spent making it just right.
  14. I lived in Montreal for 11 years, surrey for 17 years, white rock for 3 years, victoria for 3 years currently. I'll probably stay here for awhile, but I don't know if I'll stay out here the rest of my life. I've always wanted to live in europe.
  15. I have a 27inch tube in my basement that I dont really use. I have a 13inch that I occasionally use. I usually just hook up my SNES to a 42inch flat screen. Plays fine.
  16. When I was in high school I'd try my best to 100% any tapes I had because I didnt have many. Then after high school it was just beat the tape. now the challenge is start the tape in general. I think I beat likes 2 snes tapes in 2019 and that's about it.
  17. Thrift stores out here mostly have garbage, not really any tape stuff.
  18. I've only encountered a recycling bin full of nes tapes once. I'd imagine a ton got thrown out but I think most unwanted ones cycled through a garage sale, got donated traded for store credit or are just stuffed in a box lost in an attic/garage/basement/closet long forgotten and waiting for an estate sale.
