  1. I can' t even stand to watch NFL anymore. It's become such a circus. The players all act like a goofy bunch of clowns, and no one takes the game seriously anymore. I guess soccer/football is still worse though with the way players will fall down and pretend to be hurt if anyone on the other team even looks at them funny.
  2. Tetris Axis 3ds - I play it everyday. Double Dragon II NES - This was one I rented as a kid and later bought even after my brother and I had beaten it a ton of times. It was the first game I tried out in my AVS. Zelda ALTTP SNES - I also played the ever living crap out of this. To this day I can find every piece of heart.
  3. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. This makes me think of other games that had multiple versions released like Namco StarWars, Indiana Jones and the Temple of doom, and eggerland/Adventures of Lolo.
  4. It says the new software/firmware is compatible with the old programmers so it all should still work. If nothing else you can PM him for links to the old software. http://www.infiniteneslives.com/kazzo.php
  5. I'd probably just buy myself a new truck and some more land.
  6. I'm in a similar boat, but I do try to eat healthy when I can. I also drink a lot of water. Recently I've cut back on bread a lot, and that's really seemed to help.
  7. I can't believe nobody wants to take credit for this. It's awesome.
  8. I know it wasn't what you were talking about, but I couldn't help but be reminded of that video. It's especially hilarious when the guy behind the counter gets flustered and accidentally calls him sir again. Sorry, but the only advice I can give you is to learn to talk in a deeper tone or start introducing yourself as Ed or Bob or something.
  9. I remember after the first one came out. I was wondering what all the hoopla was about so I grabbed the cheapest DVD release at walmart I could find. I remember the girl at the register was giving me funny looks, and I was thinking "what's the big deal? can't a grown man buy a disney movie without being judged?" It was only after I got home that I realized I had bought the sing-a-long version. I still get a laugh out of that to this day. Nice movie. I don't really care about the sequel.
  10. I love the 64, but I only emulate it now. Unfortunately it seems like they're making emulators too accurate and they're starting to emulate the slowdown and frame drops. Anybody know how to lock Project 64 into 60fps for every game? I've always hated the kid link parts. The game only starts getting fun to me after you get the master sword, and only starts really getting awesome around the fire dungeon.
  11. In the defense of turbo controllers, they do make some games more fun and playable. Commando and Gunsmoke are good examples. Gunsmoke plays like a different game, and you aren't killing yourself pounding your controller into oblivion. In Commando you can actually fire bullets in more than eight directions, but you would probably never see this without turbo fire to hit those in between movements. It's such a buggy game though, I almost think the designers did it by accident.
  12. Zelda OOT - Too much talky, especially from that stupid owl. I forgot how boring the first half of the game was. I need to just make a save file that starts me out in the fire dungeon, but I can't bring myself to play through all that. Secret of Mana - Enemies take waaaaaay to long to kill, and on top of that you have to wait for your attack to charge back up. I still love it's predecessor on the GB though. Flashback - I used to love this game, but now I just don't have the patience for it.
  13. I think sivak said he drew more inspiration from "I wanna be the guy" than Mega Man.
  14. Sounds like something for people to make FUD videos about. I don't see how they can fine you for marking a video for adults. I could understand if they wanted to get you for labeling it as for kids, but then you have Spiderman dry humping Elsa. Telling someone that something labeled for adults is really for kids is just dumb sounding.
  15. I regret selling my first Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Wii, and all the games I had with them. I've also owned a ton of now expensive NES and SNES games that I always figured I could just buy back later. No doubt, mistakes were made. Out of them all, selling that Dreamcast was probably my biggest regret.
  16. I remember an interview with Miyamoto from a billion years ago where he said they used Apple Macs in their development. Honestly that's all I can remember from it, but for some reason that stuck with me. I assume they had some kind of custom software they were using.
  17. Dodonpachhi Lords of Thunder Thunder Force V Gunbird 2
  18. That's the same tactics care dealerships use to devalue vehicles that people might want to trade in. They'll go over every little detail trying to get them to trade it for next to nothing. They won't just outright low ball you because then you might just pick up and leave, so they play that game where they point out every little defect. It's basically emotion manipulation.
  19. DD2 for the Gameboy is pretty fun too, although it was originally a Kunio game.
  20. People should check out the Master System DD1 as well. It really tries to be like the arcade game and is a pretty fun alternative.
  21. There are game genie codes that will let you start with certain weapons, and keep them after losing a life. It would be cool to see a run with fire done like this.
