  1. The eShop version is $25 My issue isn't with the price it's with how the game looks and plays, or so I've seen in reviews and long plays. I would just assume play the original version, or better yet the sequel.
  2. I think for $60, I'd rather buy the original.. I'll get the digital version when it goes on sale in a few months.
  3. Any chance there's a recipe for this bread? It looks very fluffy
  4. I choose switch unless it's a game that suffers from poor performance. Then I would get it for XB1. I prefer handhelds though so take that into account as I play +95% of my games on handhelds.
  5. It's the world of collectors that exist today. My friend bought Pokemon tins from Target one day while we were out and put a could online bc they were on sale. Long story short, someone bought all the listed items and returned them bc they said they looked resealed... Like, I was there when he bought them from the store. The holier than thou attitude is the status quo for the average buyer rather than one who continues to learn about the hobby and it's nuances. I pitty people who are still selling video games online to strangers.
  6. The ones in the link are better and cheaper than the Hori fight pads.
  7. Why not get a retro fighter? Genuinely curious. https://retrofighters.com/our-collection/brawler64-nextgen-n64-controller-colors/ Unless someone has 3 hands, I don't see the appeal of the original controller in terms of functionality. If it's just for astetics I just assume leave it broken as long as it looks good.
  8. I think the panic sales will come more so when the Mrs. sees that the losses on the families investments and retirement funds aren't coming back anytime soon. If the losses from the market are sustained, people will be out 10s or 100s of thousands. From the last recession, people were selling off their collectables after the dust settled because the value of cash had risen. People saw how having liquidity in uncertain times could be more help than a bunch of $$$ tied up in old tender tapes.
  9. I literally finished up the quadrilateral unit on Thursday, one day ahead of the school closure. My district uses Schoology and all of our highschool students Chromebooks so I know we will be expected to get some material online for them. However, not everyone has WiFi and dealing with IEP and 504 requirements are going to be interesting when you consider the online space. None of those IEPs have been modified for distance learning and some of the parents are happy to put lawyers on the district at anytime, now would be as good as ever.
  10. Super Mario World. Coming off of the heals of Super Mario 3, it seemed impossible to improve the game to make Mario more appealing and they pulled it off. It's the best game in the series and it absolutely timeless. The different environments are a stark contrast to Mario 3 and the secret exits and bonus worlds were a thing of fantasy for me as a kid.
  11. Man, I'm so glad I chose my focus to be in online education. I just completed a grad course in becoming an online teacher and began moving a lot of my materials onto our districts online class space. Luckily, I only have 1 subject this year and I'm Geometry, we're basically done with the content expect for trig and volume / surface area. The hardest part will be getting the kids to do the work, whether it's online or in packets.
  12. It'll be back in stock eventually. The quarantine is what's making it in demand. It's a good way to relax and play at home with getting up and moving around.
  13. Here's a good video on how this virus had been spreading and why governments have taken it so seriously just based on the growth. Take into account how that it's an acute respiratory syndrome, it becomes a real threat to more people than our health Care system can handle.
  14. I'm glad I had the sense to go last night before closing. Lines weren't bad and I got basically everything I needed. Looking at the data, I knew Friday evenings would be a nightmare. Somehow I forgot sugar Should I wait til Monday morning to grab some at 6am when it opens are face the potential madness of tomorrow morning at 6am?
  15. Like Ebola? 2% death rate is up there. Spanish flu death rate was around 3.5% for reference.
  16. Not that I look at games like investments (especially switch) but Capcom has a long history of meeting Demand in the last could generations. Capcom needs to keep in good standings w it's fan base since they've just recently got back into making good games.
  17. Imagine Nicalis being the first Dev to Port a GameCube game to the switch.
  18. Nope, it's on best buy now. It sold out though... Probably low production with the coronavirus https://www.bestbuy.com/site/mega-man-zero-zx-legacy-collection-nintendo-switch/6375001.p?skuId=6375001
