like him or hate him, Trump will end up getting re-elected in November. the Democrats have had 3 years to present a viable alternative and a strong candidate. Instead, their option this year is Joe Biden. Biden regularly seems old and out of touch. He's made numerous gaffes in interviews (including one just a week or so ago!). During his 8 years as Vice President, he failed to create or spearhead anything with actual results (as far as perception goes). The most notable thing to come out of his term was the Obama/Biden memes, which were hilarious, but left Joe looking like an idiot. Hell, even Obama didn't support him until literaly every other candidate had dropped out of the running. Trump's been doubling down on his partisan rhetoric. The pro-Republican voters will still support him due to supporting the party. I don't see enough R voters hating Trump enough to vote D. especially with weak sauce candidate Biden.

i never before considered co-op Double Dragon 1, but now i badly want to play it.

i've been champing at the bit for the physical switch release of Cuphead. i can pretty much guarantee that i'm in the minority here, but i'd love for Sonic 4 to get a physical release on a Nintendo console. I'd prefer Wii-U, since that's what it was digitally released for, but would gladly accept a Switch release.

i would pay a premium for an XBox 360 that has UFC Undisputed 3's DLC on it. not that it's super rare or in high demand, but i regret selling mine a few years back

i tend to play old NES games in a sorta minimalist way. Not to make it more challenging, but just because that's the way i like to play. Here's some examples: Mario 3- like someone said earlier, i'll use a flower/leaf/mushroom that i acquire, but pass on the P-Wings Mega Man- i tend to play buster only, unless a different weapon is required to progress. Castlevania (1)- mainly whip only. depending on how i feel, i may still cheese the bosses with holy water. in addition, i have a short attention span a lot, so i tend to play just a single run (no continues). again, not always, but it keeps me playing something fresh.

how do you sort Super C?

I'm not all that familiar with Sunsoft's output, but the things that i wonder the most about (and maybe answers are already out there, i've never looked) include: how they lost the license to both Terminator and Superman, both franchises that likely could have made them a good amount of money. how/why Mr. Gimmick never got released in USA.

i submit that Mole Mania should be included on this list. a game boy game, published by Nintendo, and created by Shigeru Miyamoto.

the games that my wife (generally a non gamer) enjoys the most are Dr. Mario, Mario Kart Wii, and Kirby's Epic Yarn. she likes games that we play together (i.e. Bubble Bobble and Kirby Return to Dreamland) as well. anything with precise controls i've introduced is a short gaming session. in short, emphasize fun and/or co-op.

Mario Madness isn't the subtitle of the game. it's a tagline to get consumers' interest.

same here. i picked up Sculptor's Cut a number of years ago for around $100 and felt like i overpaid. craziness!

this post helped push me to complete the original Metroid as well. dedicated my weekend to accomplishing this and proud to report that i was successful! had only played this minimally before. hand drew my own maps so i'd get the full experience. got a bit frustrated early on, but once i hit my stride i really started to love this game. so much fun! i want to replay it already but may jump into the gameboy sequel later this week instead.

dove into some GameCube today. for reference, i bought one on launch day but sold it after about a year. picked one back up about a year ago along with some of the classics (Smash Bros, Luigi's Mansion, Gauntlet: Dark Legacy) that i previously owned. So today i decided to play some games i had no experience with. Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat fun game, but short. the clunkiness of the bongos took some getting used to, but i was able to make it to the final level. there, my inability to get precise controls down left me sunk. Switched to the standard Gamecube controller but didn't fare too much better due to terrible button configuration. Fun game, but i'd really only recommend it as a novelty. Super Mario Sunshine loved Mario 64. loved Mario Galaxy. can't get in to this game. lost my first life because i fell down a slope and got trapped inside a spiked vine. a glitch in the first level? hmm.... camera is unwieldy. the FLUDD mechanics seem fine and the world seems ok too. but this game is certainly not for me. was looking forward to playing this, too. guess i'll stick with the classics.

you didn't specify that all the characters needed to originate in a game, so let me offer some more (still not all) characters: from the comic book series: Hydro (Lin Kuei ninja, friend of Sub-Zero) Sylence (member of the US Special Forces, along with Jax and Sonya) Siang (twins who can join into one fighter) from Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm (mid '90s cartoon on USA network- not very good at all): Oniro (former leader of the Lin Kuei) Zenkaro (another member of Goro's Shokan race) Asgaarth (bird man) or any of the characters from Mortal Kombat: Konquest (late '90s live action series on TNT- think "Hercules: the Legendary Journeys" but less engaging) or my personal favorite, two characters created for WCW as Mortal Kombat ripoffs, Mortis and Glacier. i just had somebody do that to me too. first i'd seen it happen. i just LOL'd and bought from somebody else.

part of the contract for this fight was that the loser could institute a 3rd match immediately. If Wilder does that, i hope he comes prepared because he never got out of the starting blocks last night. the continued headlocks by Fury were definitely some bullsh*t. Re: Wilder's ear, (and i think they mentioned it on commentary too) sometimes blood coming from an ear can signal a burst eardrum. From the way Wilder kept losing his balance, i think this is likely what happened and why he was having so much trouble with equilibrium and timing. personally, i really wish they would just sign Fury/Joshua. Let's get a real undisputed champion again!

i got some fabric with Donkey Kong print (kong and girders mostly) and turned them into curtains. fits the motif pretty well

just spitballing here, but i'd imagine if there's a "Mario" award it would just be mainline Mario games but wouldn't include sports/kart/party/offshoot titles. But now that i'm putting more thought into it, what would all count for the main mario series? Donkey Kong? Mario Bros Super Mario Bros 1-3 Super Mario World 1-2 Super Mario Land 1-2 (3?) Mario Clash? Mario RPG? Super Mario 64 Super Mario Sunshine Super Mario Galaxy 1-2 Super Mario 3D Land / 3D World New Super Mario Bros (DS, 2, Wii, WiiU) (Super Luigi U?) Mario Odyssey Mario Maker? i'm sure there's stuff i'm not thinking of too.
