fcgamer 4,049 Member ·
@themisfit138: that looks really delicious, not sure I'd want to be raising my own animals to source the meat though.

IMO the ability to kill animals should be a pre-requisite for being allowed to eat meat. Not able to kill a chicken? Consider it off your menu. 2

fcgamer 4,049 Member ·
And whipped this up for lunch today, sort of a continuation from last night's meal. Heading to Chili's tonight for dinner with a group of guys from my church, so I won't be cooking anything else until Monday's dinner.
arch_8ngel 1,597 Member ·
Had a couple days of special occasion cooking for Valentine's day. Did a big butterflied ribeye on Friday, and pan fried small lobster tails last night. I split the cooking pretty evenly with my wife and we are both pretty good at it.
Scrobins 1,418 Moderator ·
My girlfriend has some dietary restrictions that can be hard to accommodate, but for Valentine’s Day I made us gluten/dairy/soy free penne with chili lime sauce and chocolate cheesecake. She was very happy.

Did it to see if it was viable long term. Keeping pasture pigs is pretty easy if you only have a few. Just feed them once a day make sure they have clean water then in less then a year they are butcher ready. Now I have 300lbs of meat in my freezer. Well worth it, and good quality. Kguillemette 1,184 Member ·
Smothered garlic beef tips with onions and peppers. Me and the wife will probably make salads out of these over the course of the week and perhaps steak fajitas
RegularGuyGamer 1,823 Member ·
I made gnocchi from scratch and sauteed them with some peas. I made a little brown butter sage sauce to go over them. Compliments of Gordon Ramsey recipe

I did realize how easy it was to make. It's very approachable and I've been making it once a week, usually the day before we go back to work. We had some frozen blueberries she wanted out of the freezer so I whipped this cobbler up for dessert too.
Kguillemette 1,184 Member ·
Nice! Only reason I dont cook gnocchi as often as id like to is there's a lot of cleanup for my tiny kitchen. And no dishwasher. I have to keep everything I cook at home as simple as possible or I wind up spending 2 hours a night in my kitchen. I cook professionally also. Right now it's a nice little gig making breakfast sandwiches for a sub shop in gas station. Not my most glamorous job, but it pays the bills and it's a nice schedule. Plus I get to feed people these bad boys all morning! 6

fcgamer 4,049 Member ·
Another day, more fried rice. I usually cook fried rice of sorts once a week, it's a great way to clean out anything you have lying around the house. Any guesses as to what's in this one?
