  1. The only thing I have against the Carolina Collection is it’s a useless pedigree.

NintendoAge no longer exists, and Dain was an absentee in the community for the better half of a decade now.

For the Carolina Collection to have any value requires Dain to still be a driving force in the community, or for NintendoAge to be put back on the map.

Lol whoops I didn't realize that Sega CD guide was already here. I linked to FFCD's new post in my thread.

No worries, still adding yours for reference purposes.

Just to clarify, that is just copy pasted from SA right?

  3. Signing in real quick.

I consider myself a variant hunter and I’m here getting ready to post at least three of my lists soon.

An updated version of my NTSC List, the PAL-A List, and PAL-B List. From there, it’s pretty simple for me to post variants lists.

Things like Hangtabs, Screw Variants, and Major Art Variants are already well documented on my PC. It’s just a matter of me figuring out where to come up with some time is all!

I also have a list of PAL Small Boxes, PAL Exclusives, PAL Name Changes, and Sachen Variants as well.

The only thing that’s lost that I don’t think I can rebuild is the Comboy / Asian / Hong Kong set and the Brazilian licenses set....I have the list, but no photos.

Does this include stuff for guides? Like my dragon quest monsters joker 3 synthesis guide which has a list of all the higher rank monsters and how to get them, or is it more for here's a full list of a certain set of games?

That’s a specialty list so I think it fits. If it’s worth someone’s time to work on then it deserves to be listed!

Only real rule is you have to consider it comprehensive and/or definitive or at the very least intend to get to that point.

I’ve got a list of Wii U games I can contribute.  It’s in pdf checklist format.  Would that be something you would want here?

    Yes sir.

@fcgamer has a famicom pdf on the list as well. As long as you consider your list comprehensive then it absolutely belongs.

  6. I'd say GVN is reliable for now.

But I wouldn't put it past them to fudge the numbers in a way to make things appear more expensive in the near future. There's a huge profit motive in owning and controlling a collectible pricing tool, especially considering the lack of love and respect that GoCollect has shown the community already.

I wouldn't dare think of supporting a single GoCollect product right now. NA, and GVN are two of them.

  7. Updated.

If any other lists are missing please let me know. I would love to read everything, but man there's been a lot of new posts since I've had some free time!

@RH I've added your GB thread.

@NintendoTwizer I've added your GC Players Choice, Label Variants threads, and your Wii Master Set List. Any chance you can make a separate GameCube "Kiosk Disc" list?

    @acidjaguar I've added your N64 guide list.

@dewisp02 I've added your Wii U Demo Kiosk thread here. It might now be an actual "list" per se, but it's a really handy thread for Wii U Kiosk owners. If enough of these types of threads come about on the site then I think a separate category may be needed.

  8. Depends on whether or not it has the tags on.

If it still has the plastic bag and letters then double the price.

Large and XL seems to be the common size. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a small or medium. Then again I don’t look for them anymore.

Tagless used jacket is $400-$500. Any more and you’re “overpaying” but this is a collectible, not a common game with an exact price point.

    With tag, maybe $750+

With letters - $1000+ (I can see buying just the letters alone for $400-$500)

  9. Mine is not so obvious.

I didn’t attend my son’s funeral, or burial. It was all done in secret. I still haven’t visited his crypt yet either.

Ive had plenty of extended family pass away since then, but thankfully no close family members.

I was bitter about my son’s funeral and burial since Everyone kept it a secret from me and my wife and in turn, I vowed that the only funeral I’ll ever attend again is my own.

Ive since let up, and now understand why everyone kept it quiet. But I still get panic attacks when I hear funerals after being called to a few since then, but couldn’t muster the courage to go...so I might inadvertently keep my vows without wanting to. Too much pent up crying I guess. I fear the day my two remaining grandmothers go as they’ve been widowed for 20 and 10 years.

    ...

    Went on a tangent. Sorry.

to answer the question: My Brothers, Wifes, grandmother. She had Alzheimer’s.
