  1. As mentioned above, I agree that Goo Gone works well, but not all Goo Gone is the same. I've had good luck with the liquid Goo Gone in the yellow cans. But I've also used the aerosol Goo Gone in a red can and it can ruin clear jewel cases.
  2. Just now starting to rewatch Margin Call. I haven't watched it in a while, but I love this movie.
  3. Yes, that's the only thing I've plugged into my Mega SG. For all I know, it doesn't even play original Genesis carts since I've never tried it (but I know it does )
  4. Seriously? My brother and I loved that game. We rented it so many times, we really should have bought it. It's up there with Rampage on the NES for games that we rented enough to pay for a new copy. I actually just played it again last week and I still enjoy it.
  5. I rented Max Payne when it first came out. I hated it so much I returned it the same day even though I could have kept it for 3 days.
  6. Great movie. Still holds up today and I've watched it more times then I can remember. I'm in agreement with some others that some of the stories are more interesting then others, but everything still works well together. Edit: If Kill Bill doesn't win for next week, I hope we can fit it in at some time in the future (even if it means doing Vol 1 & 2 at the same time).
  7. I never really got into G.I. Joe or He-Man. I remember G.I. Joe more because I had several friends who were into it, but I never watched either show regularly. But TMNT was basically my childhood. It was probably the first show, and toy line that I really got into as a kid to the point where I wanted to watch everything and get every single toy. The amount of TMNT stuff I had as a kid was ridiculous.
  8. For me, the PS2 generation seemed to be the largest jump in graphical quality from the previous generation. One of the first games I played for the system was 007: Agent Under Fire and I was blown away by how good it looked. It was a great system and I have a lot of good memories with it since it was basically my college gaming system. On the flip side, the PS2 was the first console I ever owned to fail on me and need replacement.
  9. No question. SMB3. But it's easy for me because I never got into Mario 64.
  10. True. True. True. True. Unfortunately, that will not get better as you go. I mentioned this earlier, but I was killed by the camera more then every single enemy in the game combined.
  11. Thanks. I must have forgotten as it's a pretty minor detail in the grand scheme of things. Considering I own all of the other Analogue products so far, I will almost certainly get their product over the Super System. With that said, it's pretty amazing to think that we have options like this today.
  12. While I'm leaning towards the Analogue product, Super Grafx support is pretty nice with the super System, and I'm fairly certain the Analogue product won't support that. But at the end of the day, that's a small number of games to base an overall decision on.
  13. There are no known 2600 full sets and there likely never will be. But a full 7800 set is definitely doable.
  14. I'm glad I passed on the original Super System. Now I just have to decide if I want this or go with the Analogue system whenever they decide to release it. Either way, I might be selling my Duo R and Arcade card.
  15. I re-watched the GameSack episodes on the Evercade and the biggest issue I see is the inability to remap buttons on all games. Since those videos are sort of old, can anyone confirm if this has been fixed with a patch? That is more or less a deal breaker for me. Games can become unplayable for me if the buttons are swapped from their original setup and there is no way to fix it.
  16. I remember watching the GameSack reviews a while back. I love the idea of the physical cartridges and the game selection seem surprisingly good compared to what I expected. The biggest issue for me was that I already had the ability to play most of these games physically already. I was on the fence for a while and eventually forgot about it. This thread reminded me. What surprised me the most is when I checked out their site, I saw that they are getting ready to release a home console version of the system. That's interesting for me as I'm not big into portable gaming. You can even use the portable system as a wired controller for the home console. I might think about getting this again.
  17. I finally started Bowser's Fury last night. It's ok. I enjoy it enough that I will probably try to finish it, but I'm glad they didn't try to sell it as a stand alone game.
  18. I thought the first world was pretty boring and I had a bad feeling about the game. But luckily, the game gets way more fun after the first world. It's never really very difficult through the main part of the game. Once you get to the secret worlds, it starts to get challenging.
  19. Not in my example they aren't, especially not when I've specifically defined how I use the term on multiple occasions. I've had this conversation before, and I'm not wasting my time on it again.
  20. I didn't say "reproduction." I said "repro" which is a common slang term for an illegally produced game. Not everyone may use the term "repro" the exact same way, but on multiple occasions I've made it clear that's how I use it.
  21. Never played it, but definitely want to try it.
  22. I actually order my games in a way that will make them take longer to get here. I try to combine as many games together as possible to save on shipping, which means that I don't get any of my games until the entire order is ready. In the unlikely event that they release a game that I MUST play today, I will just get the digital version and play it until my physical copy arrives.
