  1. Both games are excellent. In fact, both games have aged quite well. I've played both recently and they are both still very fun and distinctive. Toon link is honestly my favorite art style of link, but Midna is my favorite companion character. TP get the not for which one holds up better, the part in Windwaker where tingle interprets the maps and you need to grind rupees for hours is distictly unfun, even in 2003. TP paced very smoothly.
  2. The end result of the game isn't too surprising. Pats have been vulnerable to good run blocking all year. Their secondary and pass coverage was awesome, thats why tannehill never threw it. Henry was a one man wrecking. Crew. Titans played old school football. Pound the rock and play good defense. It's a winning formula in Foxboro.
  3. Accidentally deleted my save state on crystalis. 15 hours in including probably 3 plus hours of grinding levels so the Vampire in the zombie town doesn't keep kicking my ass. All well. I may start Alundra. Always been a game on my bucket list. The real question is do I drop big bucks on a physical copy or just spend $6 on the PSN and call it a day.
  4. Got this in a random lot, cant figure out what it is as i dont read a lick of Japanese.
  5. I've started working on ps1 and ps2. Pretty happy with my gamecube and ps3 at the moment. I mostly buy games I intend to play that are also collectible.
  6. SNES IS for playing, so only carts. Everything else is CIB.
  7. I'm thinking that it is safe to say you didn't read anything I posted or linked to...
  8. Been playing Crystalis on NES since it was released on the update. It's a really well done action rpg that holds up very well. It's tough when you start getting to points in the game where you need to switch between different elemental swords quickly because 2 different enemies flying at you only respond to specific elements. Also, still chipping away at FF7.
  9. My parents did not. I think I was excited more to see Chris Rock hosting the MTV movie Awards.
  10. Not entirely true. Jesus actually ignored the gifts of the magi and played with the boxes they came in instead. https://babylonbee.com/news/biblical-scholars-claim-jesus-ignored-gold-frankincense-myrrh-just-played-with-the-boxes-they-came-in
  11. Launch a business that my kids can work at, a deli or a food truck, something simple to execute. Travel to Europe. Save up for a house.
  12. Red Sox 2015, the infamous "5 Aces" season anchored by Clay Buchholtz. Dugout tantrums, insubordination coupled with the viciousness of Boston sports media. Odds are he just melted under the extremely high standards Boston athletes are put on by the fans. We are also a very unforgiving bunch. We are still sore about Pablo Sandoval and Carl Crawford. Don't even get me started on Daisuke Matsuzaka! Being an important part of one world series team will not earn you forgiveness for 3 years of dogging it, playing poorly, and eating salary. Hell, Boston fans are clamoring for Pedroia to retire so we dont have to start hating him too!
  13. I will always root against Wade Miley. He was just such a huge diva and team killer. More so than Price even.
  14. Yeah but megadeth > metallica. Now if you said Anthrax...
  15. 10/10 Just countless amazing songs. One of the best bands if all time.
  16. Like the title says, what are you giving this year? This year with my wife in school full time, we are back to one income, so $$$ is a bit tight for christmas. We had to get a bit creative this year. It wound up being a 5 below year. We avoided toys and electronics for the kids and focused more on art/creative toys, imaginative playthings, board games, and books. It's okay, they have enough stuff anyway, plus grandma already was all over buying them nintendo switch games. The highlights this year- Youngest(5)- Tag leap reader kit plus 10 books, hungry hungry hippos, Mrs potato head, Minnie mouse canvas kit, Middle(6)- King dedede amiibo, toy story book collection, super mario world adventures(comic collection from nintendo power,) cappy plushie.(she's a daddy's girl, she loves nintendo characters and games!). Oldest(8) - Microscope, magnet building tiles, how to draw comics book, the new dog man graphic novel, deluxe art kit. Parents- had to get creative here, my dad had open heart surgery recently, so I am making a batch of low sodium chicken jambalaya for them with quinoa instead of rice. Lots of veggies, good stuff. Grandmother- Yankee candle Sister- Michael's gift card Wife- nothing. She wants nothing, I want the same from her. We can buy ourselves presents this tax season. How about you? Silly me, they are also getting pet gerbils this year as well.
  17. Great home win for the pats! Looks like the running game is finally starting to come together. I look forward to going down to Baltimore for a rematch in this year's New England Invitational.
  18. Maybe 15 minutes of cardio plus pushups/ squats/ crunches/ etc while watching tv, etc. Plus I eat a lot better than I used to. Lots of fruit/ vegetables/ and lean protein now. I only drink water and coffee/ milk. I do enjoy some serious dessert, which is hard for me to want to cut back on. My job is pretty active, I move around 4-5 miles per day according to my step counter, so that helps. The added cardio and better diet have done wonders for my energy levels.
  19. Yes. Too much we don't know about the human psyche to dismiss it outright. I lean towards yes.
  20. That's a lower number than I thought it would be.
  21. May as well try and argue that the sky is green, then. This hot button really disappoints me. Rolling back environmental regulations has merit. Using the argument of denying climate change does not.
  22. I always thought this was more about Greta the celebrity than the activist now. Then again, celebrity is the only way to achieve real change in the world anymore. In my opinion, people who deny climate change are morons and fools. I wish the politicians would instead say, "we acknowledge the growing concern about climate change, but if we don't relax current restrictions, we risk losing America's place in the world as an economic superpower to Russia and China. This would pose a much greater threat to global stability than climate change, especially in the short term."
