  1. Puzzle was my guess as well but they did have experience with racing. It probably would have been a port of one of the Quattro racing games,
  2. As we all know, Camerica only put out 3 Quattro games on the NES. They were cartridges consisting of 4 smaller/shorter games and each cartridge had their own genre. They were: Quattro Adventure Quattro Arcade Quattro Sports If Camerica had made a 4th game to match the quatro theme, what genre do you think it would have been?
  3. Another follow up from the buyer: "Brand new discs. Item says it has a glitch, does not work." I asked the seller if the discs were scratched and that's what they replied with. The very brief reply seems suspicious though. If it truly didn't work, they would be more angry about it or at least give more details.
  4. I take pictures of all sides including the serial #. It's not that hard to open a Gamecube though and someone could easily swap the insides.
  5. They could also be using discs that are scratched to hell. This does seem like a scam though.
  6. Ok, I sold a Gamecube but this seems really suspicious: "Has a pop-up that says it has a glitch and to refer to the manual. Didn't come with a manual. Doesn't work. Please send a full refund. Thank you. Please email a return label, system won't let me print one unless I submit a picture, which I don't have." The glitch the person is referring to is usually caused by bad caps. I tested the system for an hour and from a cold boot up and it worked fine. So either this person swapped systems or I guess the caps did go bad from the very short amount of time it left my hands. What's your opinion?
  7. GVN doesn't seem to be updating their site anymore either. Alot of recent sold listings are from 2 years ago.
  8. Concerning the amount of times you've watched it, I thank you.
  9. Well, I for one am not insane. Opening sealed games and documenting all the variations of inserts is perfectly normal.....right?..........right?
  10. Sales that recently ended or are older than 90 days are hidden. What region you are in effects what you see as well. Like many websites now, I'm pretty sure ebay uses an algorithm based system as well. If you are a power seller, your items get seen by more people. If you pay extra to "promote" your listings, they get seen by more people. For searches, ebay choices what it thinks you want to see and doesn't always show you every result. You have to scroll past the recommended searches and dig a little deeper. At least that's from my experience.
  11. Yup, carts went from 5 flathead screws, to 3 flathead screws, to 3 security bit screws.
  12. NP inserts didn't start appearing until a year later. This was their first game on the system along with Lunar Pool so that's probably why there isn't any poster or registration card.
  13. Is it residue on the pins or a crack? To me it looks like a light crack on both sides.
  14. No joke, this is the main reason why I open sealed games. I want everything to be mint and original from the factory. I've gotten burned too many times in the past. Also, to the original topic. The Japanese PS2 cases feel higher quality. The plastic feels thicker and smoother. I think the European PS2 cases are the same as NA but are blue.
  15. I asked the man himself (Jason Dvorak) and it's from Road Rash.
  16. Thanks, I'll take this into consideration. I've heard rumors that the companies that did really well on the system got the Nintendo sleeves as well. I've seen a lot of CIB Capcom games that had Nintendo sleeves. Too often to be a coincidence. Capcom was one of the best third parties on the system so it's possible this is true.

3 SNES Precaution Booklets. Third one is in rough shape.
  18. A huge milestone indeed. Can we make it to 500 one day? I hope so.
  19. From what I've heard they are equal to or even slightly better than official Sony ones.
  20. Ebay might be your only choice at the moment. HDRV aren't making them due to parts shortage and it could be another year or so before they start production.
  21. With rental stores disappearing everyday, I'm curious to know what the last game you remember renting was.
  22. Right, the non revision sleeve version came with launch day systems. I want to say there are at least 3 or 4 sleeve revisions.
