  1. When did Xbox Magazine stop coming in plastic bags? Meaning the address label was printed on the magazine itself. @thePiratePimp I'm curious why you stopped collecting OXM at November 2011? I haven't decided where I want to stop but it's probably going to be around 06-07. After that, magazines began to feel dead to me. Like there was no real point of reading them. Several of them had switched to a more streamlined format with less pages and the pages themselves were walls of text.
  2. This week, I unbox Parappa the Rapper for the original Playstation. Did you know about it's unique insert?
  3. Did you add this to the Sealed Game Contents list?
  4. Yeah, Best Offer seems pointless at times. If you ask for anything more than 10% off of the BIN price, you are probably going to get declined. Meaning the seller does have a bare minimum price in mind but wants to try and get as much money as possible. Best Offer should mean the seller is not sure what they want for it so they are taking offers. Ebay seems like it's full of scalpers and people selling overpriced games now. It's no longer the best website to buy or sell games. There's alot more competition then there was 20 years ago when I first started selling on there. Amazon, Etsy, Offer Up, Craig's List, Facebook Marketplace, WhatNot, and yes, even sites like DK Oldies. Add that on top of a bad economy and I can see why ebay is dead now.
  5. By marketplace I assume you mean Facebook Marketplace? I've heard mixed results about that. It seems like alot of people get scammed. I don't sell stuff scalpers want. Mostly stuff the average buyer wants. Occasionally collector stuff.
  6. Exactly, people watch stuff that they plan to buy later but because they can't right now, it sits for months and then I think they forget about it. Yeah I get different results as well when searching on a phone so there is definitely some kind of algorithm system going on. Yes, it's very frustrating when multiple people watch an item, you send them an offer, and no one responds. Like, not even a reply about going lower on the price, declining the price, or that they are interested but need more funds. Just straight up no response. How lazy can you get. Where are some other places you sell your stuff? If you still do.
  7. Is it just me or is ebay pretty much dead now? It seems if you want something to sell, you practically have to give it away. Taking lots of pictures, having detailed descriptions, and sending offers doesn't seem to matter anymore. People watch but nobody bites. I'm wondering if anyone else here is having this experience? If so, I kind of wonder if something was changed. I know ebay runs on an algorithm now, if not, it sure seems like so. When I was a Power Seller it seems I sold more so maybe non Power Sellers get lost in the shuffle somehow? I also realize that the economy is in a recession and credit card dept is at an all time high so I get it, people don't have money to spend. Just my thoughts/rant.
  8. It does not but if you have a 5000X model, you don't need it as there is an IR sensor built into the system.
  9. Mega Man 6 was published by Nintendo so it got one. There is a very rare Capcom version though and I'm curious what that version had.
  10. I'm seriously beginning to wonder if later Capcom games came with Nintendo sleeves. I've seen a lot of them with them. Too much to be a coincidence.
  11. Made a short video about how to easily remove a memory card from a PS2 case. Yes, you read that correctly.
  12. Who knows if they even had the Tecmo branding on them. Maybe they just sent you an actual Casio watch?
  13. For the amount of money you would have spent on games, you could buy much nicer things. Including a much nicer watch. So yeah, I bet these are really hard to find now. I'm guessing Tecmo only sent out 100 or so and maybe a few are still out there. Alot of them probably got thrown away. We've all had those moments in life where mom told us to get rid of the crap in our rooms LOL. So old toys and watches like this were the first to go.
  14. In this video I quickly go over the odd mailing address label found in certain Tecmo games.
  15. What would be the best way to remove remnants of this large sticker without damaging the shrinkwrap?
  16. @Richard Kimmel Nice collection but you should probably move this to the Selling thread.
  17. Those do look 100%. His MJ is missing the inserts though.
  18. Why did I never notice this until now? If I did, I forgot about it.
  19. Ok, so the fact that Acclaim acquired them makes more sense. Sometime in the 90's Acclaim started making their own boxes, manuals, cartridges, sleeves, baggies, etc. They were lower quality compared to other games. So maybe Acclaim decided to do one last Majesco style print of the game in 1995 and bought leftover sleeves from Nintendo. Since it was a very late release and Acclaim now owned Sunsoft, there was no need to put in a registration card or Nintendo Power insert.
