  1. Yup, pretty sure the case is the same. The premium case came with a metal sub zero card inside though.
  2. Well, it's been like 2 years since my last one but I decided to do a sealed unboxing. Wii Play. Everyone's favorite shovelware game.
  3. If you have any data about anything NES related, feel free to post it here.
  4. I face mine to the right because it's usually the cleaner side without the warranty information. Unfortunately, Capcom put the warranty info on both sides.
  5. I'm more concerned about that half assed battery replacement.
  6. Yeah, that's what I was implying. Dragon Warrior III's manual is 80 pages. Only 4 less than Final Fantasy so the odds of that game also not having a sleeve seem high. If it does come with one then it must be a tight fit.
  7. A sealed Crystalis was opened and it had the sleeve so some tall manual games came with sleeves. Dragon Warrior III is another thick manual and I believe came with a map so I'm curious if that came with a sleeve.
  8. So that's a later print but we still don't know if the sleeve and Nintendo Power insert was added. PMG-USA is era correct though.
  9. What's also odd is it looks like it never came with a Nintendo Power insert or poster as well. I'm guessing this was for space reasons since the manual is 84 pages? So not only do we not know for sure if it came with a sleeve, we don't know if later prints did come with a sleeve. The lack of a star on the manual in that pic leads me to believe it's a first print.
  10. As odd as it may seem, apparently some versions of Final Fantasy did not come with a sleeve. There are people on reddit who swear by this and I know someone who opened this Final Fantasy when they got it from Kay Bee years ago and never played it.
  11. Is there anyway to safely remove paint from a paper/semi gloss label? I'm guessing no. Isopropyl alcohol will remove the ink from the label. Picking at it with a plastic razor blade will remove pieces of the label as well.
  12. They are noticeable if you look at them in person. In photos it can be a bit tougher.
  13. Late 1987 is when it seems like they started to appear.
  14. Not sure about GB but for NES it was around 1992 and all SNES games had them starting in 1991. The same GB precautions booklets were used for GBC games as well but still said Gameboy on them. The revisions went up pretty high. There are at least 8 for sure but I want to say the revisions reached double digits. Like a 10 or 11.
  15. Yet another Playstation game with a sweepstakes insert inside. I doubt very many care about this though. LOL
  16. I'm guessing the no seal "Congratulations" came with Gradius and the seal version came with the 87 line up. Not 100% sure if it came with first print Top Gun and Goonies II.
  17. Carmen Sandiego had it's own Konami insert. It's the same as -3 but folded differently and doesn't have the code. And yeah, there are three different KON-NES-US inserts. Confusing.
  18. I don't think it exists. Even the launch day Gameboys came with -1.
  19. Very nice. I would love to open one of these one day and add it to my collection. It's a good game.
