I wasn’t around in the Nintendo vs Sega days. I have played the NES, SNES, and the Genesis and enjoy them all very much. I do especially like my Genesis games, though. As a kid I played the GameCube, PS1, and PS2. I also eventually got an Xbox 360. I guess what I’m saying is for the most part I am still a Nintendo fan, but Sega, Sony, and Microsoft also have my attention.

Some of my favorite parts of collecting this year would have to be: - Getting a copy of Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness for the GameCube. - Getting Animal Crossing for the GameCube. - Adding a Nintendo 64 to my collection. I also have to give a shout-out to the VGS community. For keeping collecting and gaming fun and being supportive to everyone. -

Mine is grey with a Rover sticker. I didn’t know there were variants. Apparently there are ones with K.K. Slider instead. Pretty cool!

Bought a copy of Animal Crossing for the GameCube today. It comes with the manual and the memory card too.

I, personally, buy cart-only DS/3DS game all the time. It doesn’t bother me one bit to not have the cases or manuals. When it comes to disc games, I am more selective on the ones I buy. I usually only buy loose discs from a game store where I know I can bring it back if there’s an issue.

I would say Nintendo Entertainment Systems, but I think Nintendos is acceptable. Lots of great arguments to support otherwise, though.

I give it 9/10. I love it. There are so many amazing games. The graphics are great. The online store is great. It’s not a 10 because of the fact that it doesn’t come with a good controller and requires you to buy one separately.

I always get an adrenaline rush when I beat the Champion in a Pokémon game. -
