For me it’s Mega Man 1. It’s a very nostalgic game for me and doesn’t take long to beat. Also, I’ve run through FFIV many times. Everything about it is perfect.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Congrats @doner24!! The dog bit is hilarious! Went to PA with my brother to see our stepmom, and we got Dad out of nursing home rehab for the day. I bought a turkey dinner from the local grocery store, which ended up being good (although not like the dinners we used to have). I'm just glad that all of us were together and had a nice meal. Dad's getting his strength back and seemed to be doing well. And the Cowboys lost The day couldn't have gone better.

I called up a grocery store to confirm a Thanksgiving meal order I made, and I couldn't tell if the person on the other end was a man or woman. When the person first picked up the phone it sounded like a man, and then right before we hung up it sounded like a woman. I'll never know if it was a he or a she. I've never been misgendered over the phone, although I've been told I have a deep voice in general. *shrug*

I was wondering how Odyssey would fair compared to Galaxy. I'm sure I'll get just as addicted as I was to those two. I haven't had a chance to get back to BS yet but I'll probably hit you up for a hint. Thanks

I've been slow at it lately, but still playing. I'm about 70% on the map, got the bad ending and now trying to figure out what to do next. Still having fun, but I have to say I want to get it over and done with so I can start Mario Odyssey

I've always loved the genre. My first shmups were Space Invaders and Defender on Atari. I LOVED Defender... played it all the time. In the arcade, I played Galaga, R-Type, (later on Raiden, Aero Fighters 2, and Twinkle Star Sprites). On the NES I played 1943, Gradius, Life Force, etc.

I'd say Twinkle Star Sprites is my favorite Shmup. I used to play it all the time at the arcade, and I love firing it up on MAME every now and again. I love the versus aspect of it.

That's a great idea It would give people who don't have collection sets some incentive to participate more in the community. We did have the contest awards on NA, so I'm sure those will be back at the very least.
