  1. I personally loved it. 9/10. My second favorite SW movie after RotJ. Bring on the hate!
  2. I have them in cases in a desk drawer. All loose GB-GBC-GBA games are in a giant ziplock bag. DS and 3DS games are in their cases on a shelf.
  3. Never heard of them and after listening to a few tracks I wish it had stayed that way.
  4. Has anyone here bought the ones from Amazon? Recently got into Saturn collecting and I'm already concerned about the cases, there are too many cracked ones out there. Are they as good if not better than the originals? I know the OEM ones are ridiculously fragile but I take really good care of my stuff and I love the look of the cases, I'd hate to resort to more durable alternative methods for storage.
  5. The tail end of SNES through all of N64 was my favorite period in gaming. I'll pick 1995-99 though it cuts out some really fantastic titles from 1994 and 2000/01.
  6. Donkey Kong Country Returns Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Yoshi's Woolly World Yoshi's Crafted World Kirby's Epic Yarn Mega Man 9 Mega Man 10 Mega Man 11 Rayman Legends Hollow Knight Shovel Knight Limbo
  7. Maybe I'm just too stupid to understand but I just didn't quite get it. 5/10
  8. Conker's Bad Fur Day is easily the funniest game I've ever played. While it doesn't make me laugh out loud these days since I've been through the game a dozen times or more, the first time I played the game I nearly pissed my pants several times just based on the shock humor.
  9. One of my goals for this year was to read more books - shooting for at least one a month (which is a lot for me). Picked up two books by the author of my favorite book (Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451):
  10. Of all the garbage-tier Pauly Shore movies this is probably the best one. In fact I actually enjoy it! haven't seen it in a while but it's one I would definitely go back to.
  11. You can say that again! I really really wanted to like the game. I really did. There were some things I did enjoy like the graphics, the music, Skyloft and even some of the characters. But the level design was horrendous and repetitive and the motion controls were a forced gimmick that only made the game more tedious. Even with traditional controls the game would've been a mess mostly because you visit the same 3 areas 3 times and the lack of any kind of open world made the game feel miniscule but at the same time ended up being the 2nd longest Zelda in history (after Breath of the Wild - so longest game at the time of release). I hate that I didn't like the game. Zelda deserved better than this.
  12. Project Dream, from Rare aka the prototype Banjo-Kazooie SNES game.
  13. Are any of the Mega Man sub-series bridged? As far as I was aware they all seemed to exist separately. I don't even think Mega Man and Mega Man X are the same character. And Zero takes places long after MMX I believe. ZX I have no idea how it connects to anything. But I was just under the impression there really is no connection (or very little) between the series.
  14. 4 and 6 because calling them 2 and 3 just confuses which 2 and 3 we are talking about.
  15. Star Wars Shadows of the Empire - I've been wanting to read it for so long (since I played the N64 game)... I don't know why I never read it til now. But it's really good.
  16. I mean this is exactly why collecting was appealing to me. Physical games will eventually fail but probably not in our lifetime, but digital games are out of our control. Not to mention limited hard drive space means we can't have every game we own loaded on a console.
  17. The majority of my transactions are good ones which is definitely a good thing. But the most common thing that gets me is the listing states the game is in mint condition, works, tested, etc, and I receive it and it's none of those things. It's hard to judge in photos the condition of a game. Other than that the most common thing was shipping took forever because of a crappy delivery service.
  18. Daemon X Machina, which got so-so reviews, there's a demo on the eShop to see if it's for you. Personally, I was very hesitant about the game but after the demo I ended up buying it and loving the game.
  19. All of mine are opened except my Link's Awakening one. I had 50+ amiibos but sold probably around 30-35 of them because I never used them and they were taking up too much space.
  20. Completely agree about Hollow Knight. It's one of the few masterpieces of the last decade IMO. Axiom Verge was good to me, but not amazing. It was definitely very much a Metroid-style game.
  21. I just meant the formula is more or less the same since the beginning. There is more they could do to mix up the formula a little bit. Every entry it's always the same boring options - GP, Time Trial, Battle. I loved DKR for its added vehicle types and adventure mode. Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled (last year's remake) added free DLC and challenges that unlock new karts, characters and customizations. It just feels like Mario Kart has fallen behind in being the best racing/kart racing game.
  22. Nothing wrong with thinking a game is a masterpiece. I think Celeste is very good, don't get me wrong. But not one of the best games I ever played. I definitely agree the music is awesome in Celeste. Hollow Knight didn't grab me at first, it had to sink in after a few play sessions. By the time I finished it, it became one of my favorite games of the last decade.
