  1. Wow, these 3-sleeve photo plastic pages for storing NES manuals is pure genius! I will definitely be looking into doing this. Thanks for the great idea, and best of luck with selling!
  2. Nice one! This game is pretty brutal. Back when I was playing it I could get to stage 13 pretty regularly, but those homing missiles are just too much. Never beat it. This one is also rough on the thumb/wrist with the button mashing.
  3. I'm from Warren, MI. Northeast suburbs of Detroit.
  4. Obtaining multiple copies of games via large lots purchased or finding them underpriced is one thing. It makes sense to me, as it can be good for trade bait or just to flip and make a few bucks... But buying multiple copies of the same game(s) at current market value just to simply own is something that I too cannot relate too.
  5. I'm a production spec analyst in automotive (GM).
  6. I'll still lurk around there, and I'm curious to see just exactly how their changes transpire (I'm not expecting much). There hasn't been much happening over there since VGS has come to full fruition and everyone jumped ship.
  7. I have a ton of nostalgia for the Mega Man series, and 4 is my favorite, so I'll go with Mega Man 4. Not far behind MM4 for me is Donkey Kong Country 2, and Banjo-Kazooie.
  8. That was fun. I got 42. I missed 14 black box titles. And for some reason I was thinking Tradewest published most the Rare games, so I missed R.C. Pro-Am, Cobra Triangle, Snake Rattle & Roll, and Pinbot.
  9. Batman Return of the Joker always comes to mind for me when this topic comes up. The sprite of Batman is almost 16 bit quality. Sticking with late-release Sunsoft titles, I think Mr Gimmick & Super Spy Hunter have some very impressive graphics. A few others I’ll add off the top of my head are Little Samson, Crisis Force, Isolated Warrior, Shatterhand, Kirby’s Adventure, & Mega Man 6. +1 for MTPO and CV3.
  10. I generally focus on one game at a time, and go for the conquer or 100+ percent. For platformers/sidescrollers and shmups, I try to pull off a no-death run, or at least a 1CC, if possible before moving on. I usually try to beat games on the highest difficulty setting as well.
  11. I'm playing A Nightmare on Elm Street for the NES. Trying to do a 1CC.
  12. Besides games, I collect action figures from the 80s & 90s. TMNT, WWF Hasbro figures, Toxic Crusaders, Skeleton Warriors, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Bucky O’Hare, Street Sharks, Extreme Dinosaurs, Stone Protecters.
  13. Recently beat A Nightmare in Elm Street on the NES. It definitely has its areas of frustration. All in all a pretty fun game though.
