  1. Star Trek TOS, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm. I dunno if they’re actually the best, but all of them I’ve watched through the entire series multiple times so that says something.
  2. Got my Yoshi's Cookie Kuruppon Oven de Cookie First auction on YAJ was BIN'd for a ridiculous price during a bidding war in the last minutes of the auction and not paid for. The second auction was shilled up to my exact max bid with a retracted bid (which was $100s less than my original high bid for the exact reason that I no longer trusted the seller, lol). But it's legit and it's in my house, so I'm still happy. Rare Nintendo tapes!
  3. Most graded copies you see were probably bought off Ebay a year or two ago for $25 and shipped in bubble mailers, not from cases. The easiest way to get in on the Wata gold rush has been to just buy out everything on Ebay and send it in. Who is paying $1k for them, no idea.
  4. Karl would get banned from NintendoAge so hard
  5. Check out this 20,000,000 sold promo Donkey Kong Game & Watch. I was willing to go pretty big on it but not 1m JPY ($9100). I couldn’t find any info on it but it looks awesome. There’s a similar green 20m promo G&W console but I’d rather have a DK personally https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/v1000826284
  6. I mean that’s the only thing I can think of but doesn’t that hurt their long term business with a solution to a temporary problem? And 6.5 is such a weird cut off. 9.4 is when games start getting really nice. 9.0 is the nice psychological boundary people want to hit. Are we gonna have people showing off submissions in 5 years “Aw yeah, got that 6.5 B, blue label!!”
  7. Of all the things they could differentiate with color: IMPs, CIB, individual components of sets, they choose to give the finger to low grade stuff?
  8. Pro esports players practice hours a day. It’s certainly physically demanding at the top level. Players get arm and wrist injuries all the time. Careers are short too because of physical limitations once you’re an old man in your 30s.
  9. Sonic 2 maybe. I really wasn't beating much of anything as a kid besides maybe some kids PC game I can't remember because I sucked and had no patience. On Genesis I also remember beating Taz in Escape from Mars, Mean Bean Machine, Sonic Spinball, X-Men 2, Vectorman, and Blaster Master 2 as a kid.
  10. They’re my two favorite games. I’d say OOT, probably purely nostalgia at this point. I used to play through OOT more, now I play through Mario 64 more since you can beat it in an afternoon and it’s a joy start to finish with no BS.
  11. Any contractor willing to work on the Death Star knew the risks. If they were killed, it was their own fault.
  12. 9/10 for me. I can’t believe we blew up a Death Star twice in the same trilogy.
  13. I thought these are rare or something but apparently it's just trash you send to Goodwill. https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/127320702
  14. Wow, we had a years long streak going and you broke it.
  15. 9/10 I just played RE2 (the original) within the last year and was blown away. I get bored of RE1, but RE2 is on par with Silent Hill. Totally loved it. One of the best games in the checking-all-the-doors-to-see-what's-unlocked horror genre.
  16. It's definitely worth grading. Many buyers in the sealed market are new right now and don't know what they're looking for to authenticate or judge an ungraded game (and in general people don't want condition surprises in a game they paid $1000s for). You will hugely increase your market by grading it, particularly with Wata. It will also take a long ass time.
  17. If you want to be super legit you can dump your own SFC carts with a Retrode 2 or Super Nt, patch the ROM, then play on a flash cart. The Retron 5's auto patching is a pretty fancy feature. I don't know anything about the UFO Pro 8, but if it does that on real hardware, that sounds really cool.

I can't believe you think Capcom leads when you bring it up to modern day. What has Capcom done lately? New Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Ghosts n Goblins games? Can that compete with Konami's offerings like... THIS: Ohoho, but that's only PS5! Don't forget about all the Konami Switch games, where we're probably seeing all-new franchises alongside not-just-remastered-collection sequels to beloved games like Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Castlevania, and Contra! Wow Konami, you truly are the greatest. I look forward to many more years of you re-releasing hits such as Super Bomberman R, because lest we forget, you are also the stewards of the storied and iconic Hudson Soft franchises of old.

The further you go out, the more Konami abandoned or phoned in their IPs and you get all of Capcom's biggest non-SF franchises Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, and Devil May Cry. For old stuff, both have killer platformers and shooters. Konami probably edges it out for me with more games like Metal Gear 2, Simon's Quest, and Snatcher that aren't just super good traditional action games. Also gothic horror is cooler than blue robots if it just comes down to those two.
  20. I can't get over how self-satisfied this dude looks
  21. I love playing shooters with gamepads, especially ones that don't have auto fire or require you to take your finger off the fire button to do something else. It totally doesn't make my hands look like this when playing on a gamepad.
  22. All of them are good. Kind of none of them have deep enough libraries across all genres to be some kind of all-rounder GOAT in my eyes. Almost all of favorite games on all three of them are ports of some kind (Snatcher, Popful Mail, Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga, SoulCalibur). Dreamcast has the best ports, Saturn has the games I like most, and Sega CD has the most personality out of them, so I kind of like all of them. I put Saturn > Sega CD > Dreamcast just based on what I play most.
